[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this old fashioned ice cream maker. We have used it to make several different flavors of ice cream. We are still figuring out how to make it super creamy like an ice cream shop, but I think that is more finding the perfect recipe than a problem with the machine. It is quite large, so takes up a lot of storage room, but it is easy to put together and use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream maker works flawlessly! It's very easy to use and comes with a book of recipes and maintenance instructions inside. I love that it makes 6qts at a time which is great for the whole family! The bucket is solid wood and very sturdy, should last for years to come!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream maker is easy and efficient to use. You simply place the mixture in the inner container, add ice and salt to the wooden bucket, and the motor does the rest without interruptions. The overall quality is good: the wooden bucket has a nice, sturdy finish, and the metal bands keep everything secure. The motor, although lightweight, provides adequate power and runs smoothly. Assembly is simple and requires no tools—just make sure the lid and motor are properly fitted. For storage, it takes up some space due to its bucket shape, but it isn't heavy. Overall, it's a practical and reliable option for making homemade ice cream.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small section near my stove where I placed this my cabinets are long and low here so the product did fit snugly. It has various parts it's easy to assemble as they're big pieces. It's powerful and gets the job done. I love that they include recipes I tried out the pistachio one it was delicious. You would need a significant amount of ice and need to buy rock salt. It was fun to use and makes a good amount of ice cream for the family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The old look of the walnut bucket looks amazing on my kitchen counter. Beyond its great looks, it's very easy to use and churns out batches of perfect homemade ice cream. It seems to be very sturdy, It is the best of both worlds—vintage charm meets modern convenience!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Effective ice cream churning machine for those who make large amounts of ice cream at a time. I am rating this four stars because there was slight leakage and took a very long time to churn. I followed all instructions properly including soaking the bucket, and my custard took almost 2 hours to churn to completion. However, it turned out delicious! Once it's set up it's super easy to use, just turn on and leave it and check back for salt and ice levels. This machine fits in a regular apartment sink, which was very convenient however it was pretty messy trying to clean up just due to the large size in an apartment. If you make large quantities of ice cream regularly this is a great machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice cream maker is really fun to use! I will say that it is very easy to clean so that is not an issue. What was an issue? Storage, I don't have a lot of room in my kitchen for it. So I kind of tucked it away in my storage room, and I am so scared that it is never going to be pulled out again.Because I just couldn't store it anywhere in my kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could say that I love this ice cream maker but every time I've used it I just feel like it's been a bit frustrating. In the instructions it says that you should soak the barrel so that when you put ice in it it doesn't leak. Only supposed to do that one time. However, every time I've I've made ice cream for the barrel has leaked. I always have to put the barrel into a bucket or a sink. The next thing is that I feel like the ice cream never actually gets done. Personally, I feel that it takes so much longer to make ice cream than what it should. I've waited over an hour in some cases and that's using ice cream, salt and constantly topping up the ice. I've never had such problems with an ice cream maker before. I do really like the look of it and it does eventually make ice cream. I just am not a fan with how much it leaks or the run time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sounds like a fun idea, but this was not a a fun process. Some of the parts had a black substance on them. My tub leaked bad. There is also quite a bit of steps. I was able to make some ice cream but I wouldn't do this again. I loved that it came with a recipe book!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an absolutely terrible experience trying to set this up and was unsuccessful. I am late to review because I tried absolutely everything to make this ice cream maker work. Unfortunately the quality is just not there. After googling and trying to fix it, unfortunately I just cannot get it to work. Very disappointing.
