[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an old (ancient actually) electric carving knife that my mother gave me shortly after I moved out on my own (1998 maybe?). It's one of those things that works well enough that I never thought of replacing since I used it so infrequently. This cordless knife is a complete game changer! I use it all the time since I don't have to drag a cord all over the counter and find a spare outlet when I need to use it. I find myself picking it up to use it all the time. It is much more quiet than my old knife so that's a huge bonus. It works really well on bread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sooo much more powerful than older one! Cuts home made bread very nicely (serrated knife) the straight knife does well on cutting blocks of cheese. It can be a bit difficult to use the unlock and the on switch at the same time. However when experiencing the power of the knife and the finger cutting possibilities, I respect this safety maneuver!
