Elizabeth Arden White Tea Eau Fraiche , 3.3 oz EDT Spray

Bought as gift. Lovely, fresh light scent. Would buy for myself.

I love the classic white tea EDT. This flanker is more “fresh”and summery.

FYI, I bought this 100ml bottle of this with my own money and it wasn't gifted to me! This is pretty but it's exceptionally light. I expected that of course because the White Tea Range is generally quite delicate (particularly the pillar fragrance!) and as an eau fraiche I didn't think this would be strong, but it's very very subtle indeed. You'd want to overspray and re-apply every couple of hours on skin. Lasts longer on clothing but it's still fleeting. Scent-wise, it doesn't list any tea notes so that's odd.... it shares the sea note and woodyness from the other White Tea's but it's much brighter and way sharper at first. Lots of bergamot. As it dries down the blood orange comes out more but in the deep drydown I find that it's the pear that really shines through. It remains as a lightly sweet, citrussy, woody pear aroma with a slightly salty background. Extreamly close to the skin. It's very pretty. Super easy to wear. A sort of bridge between White Tea and Green Tea in a way, but maybe not quite as nice as either?! Personally I don't find it very exciting or unique but it's still lovely! It's just that the performance is bad, even for Elizabeth Arden, although of course I assume this would be best in very high heat as most eau fraiche scents are!
