Liked ordering and price reduction. Liked quick delivery. Arrived in perfect condition. Ellipse was recommended by my husband's physical therapist to strengthen his legs, so it was my birthday gift to him. It was easy to assemble and has been used daily ever since. It's quiet and counts steps…a nice purchase.
The Ellipse One is easy to use and very quiet. It helps me after having hip replacement surgery to exercise my leg without any stress or strain. Only draw backs that I could see is that it maybe could be a little easier to put together. And the fact that it is a little pricey. But all in all, I'm pleased with it.
I like this product because it was exactly how it was advertised on television and online at Walmart. com. It was so extremely easy to assemble and to use. I received it when I was supposed and has a warranty. Thank you for such great customer service and support. Whan I cannot get put for my walk this is a amazing substitute. I still can get my walk on and my steps.
The machine is quite easy to assemble out of the box and equaly easy to use. I could feel improvement in my feet, ankles and calf muscles after the first session. The foot pedals are a bit rough on stocking feet, so wear shoes or something to absorb the pressure. The counter seems to run ahead of reality, but at least they appear to work consistently. There is nothing in the instructions that indicates what a "good" session would be so its up to the user to decide. At 9,999 the counter just stops even as one keeps pedaling. But that is also a pretty good session on the lowest setting. You can also run it without starting the counter though I don't know that that is a good idea for the motor. Glad I bought it.
I am recovering from 8 fractured ribs and, consequently, the loss of my spleen. My husband has had a mild stroke which has left him with weakness on his right side and loss of balance. The Ellipse allows us to exercise our legs in a way that works for us. We are able to sit comfortably and work out either manually or automatically. The motion is smooth and enjoyable. We definitely recommend it!
While the setup %26 operation is relatively easy, the non -slip mat does not prevent slippage so I placed a 10 lb. Weight on it and it helps. I like the theory of using it while I work but it will take time getting use to typing while moving my feet. Using it while writing is ok but typing is not ideal.
I returned a different type of leg exercise machine for several reasons. I thought let me give this one a try. Walmart gives 30 days for you to be able to return. So far, we like it a lot. My complaints (as also with the other machine) the cord is very short, so in order to be able to use this we had to add an extension cord. The other inconvenience is the remote has to be completely near the machine in order to change speed, reverse or stop. If you are disable this can be a problem, but we like it enough to still keep it.
I bought it because it is electric with remote but remote doesn't work. i already have a manual but i can't use it. That's why I ordered this one. i have contacted the seller, but haven't heard back. i was hoping they can tell me how to fix it. if not it is of no use to me.
I had a long wait getting it after I ordered it. 3 weeks later I called and asked where it was and they said it was on hold. Then I finally got it. I ordered another one for a friend through Walmart and it got lost in transit so cancelled that order. Tried ordering it through the company again and two weeks later they still had not even shipped it yet so I told them to cancel that order and ordered a different one from a different company, not an Legxercise and I got it in 2 days. I will not give Ellipse my business ever again. They should not advertise expedited shipping when they never even send it
The Ellipse Leg Exerciset MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by a WARNING Indicating that People Suffering of HIP PROBLEMS (like Osteoarthritis) should stay away from it. After I paid $278 to purchase it I WASN'T ABLE TO USE IT Because the Pain from my Left Hip WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO USE IT.
