Superior service

David Zachmann September 14, 2017

We were looking for a floor jack assembly that was quickly adaptable for heights that are above the norm. The jacks we purchased were shipped immediately after our order was placed and within a few days had arrived. The jacks were the perfect solution. Thank you so much.

This product delivers!!

Peter Gromadzinski September 19, 2021

Used it for a bump out on my house that is supported by 6x8 posts. Over 40 years each corner sank about an inch . We built up the concrete base and permanently installed 2 of these jacks so if in the future something starts sinking again we can just give it a crank. Awesome product !! Will include pictures in the future .

Sunroom Lift

Brian Richterkessing August 11, 2018

This screw jack was the perfect solution for a repair of a couple of incorrectly installed columns. I modified the box, (cut out one side) ,and slid it into place and re-welded the cut out plate back on the box. The columns were rotting due to no spacer between the wood and concrete which floats separate from the foundation. I can now make adjustments with ease as movement occurs between the slab and foundation.

Excellent product.

Damian Hanlon October 7, 2018

Very high quality product. I was able to lift and level an old cabin that had rotted beams and support. I will also be able to correct level over time as the ground settles due to fact that these can be adjusted easily. Very happy with product. It made my project much easier and safe to lift/level my cabin.

Ellis SJ-6 was a major role player in remodel.

Kenneth Lankford August 24, 2016

I used this one to take care of a 6x6 post my dad installed 40 years ago. The post was out of square and I was remodeling this garage to a new room. This post had two 6 inch angle iron feet that had to go so I could install a new floor and closet. This post supported a concrete floor above it for all these years. I started out by using two steel post jacks to hold the load, then cut the bottom of the post off, removing the post entirely. Then removed the bottom stub and concreted the hole back in. I then used this Ellis screw jack on the lower part to support the load, removing the temporary jacks. Then we leveled the floor, installed the vinyl, and framed the closet, square with the post. I also used 3 small screw jacks to replace railroad tie plates used on three other support posts in this room. Ellis made this happen. I also used them last year supporting the end of the house when I replaced the end foundation.

Great Customer Service

Joe Frattone March 17, 2018

I had a job of lifting a concrete floor approximately 7x12 slab in a side vestibule of a church. When the jacks arrived I opened the box and found 1 not 2 as I had ordered.. With only 3 business days till the start of the job, I thought I would have to reschedule. However I called Ellis the next morning told them my problem. They were over the top in understanding and very helpful. They send me the 2nd jack 2 day air with no additional charge. It arrived just in time for the job. As promised to me the customer. Service like this makes me a customer for life.

Earthquake Damage

Robert H. December 4, 2011

I had some earthquake damage to the foundation under my house back in August. Most of the suggestions that I got for repairs were costly and labor intensive. I found you guys on the internet and ordered your products. I received the jacks in a timely fashion and had them installed in a half a day. In short I would like to thank you having good products and a short delivery schedule. Happy holidays and a promising new year.

Great product

Joe Kipp August 8, 2016

It is as strong as they say. Saved me from having to replace an entire post. Only the bottom 24" of the post was rotting (due to being set below grade on initial installation). These allowed me to remove bad section of post, raise the footing and add these 6x6 screw jacks. It worked perfect. The deck is now level and has positive drainage away from the house. Thanks . Awesome product.

Handy accessory

Daniel Leyes November 24, 2019

These work exactly as designed and hold the posts upright during minor adjustments of each other. My only complaint is that unless they are significantly offset on top of the post they are attached to you cannot put a screw or nail up through the post and into the header they are supporting. I like to do this as a final safety before leaving the shoring. This is a minor issue that is easily fixed with a gusset plate on the side. I plan to shear one of these springs down to 2" wide to see if it will still hold in place as designed and allow a screw or nail to be used as well.
