Ello 5.5 Cup Glass Lunch Bowl Mint, White

I recently used it to put a smaller bundt cake in it and the lid made it just the right size keeping it from smashing the cake down. You can keep thing fresh for an extended period of time with the sealed locks. I get so many compliments on everything from my leftover food service storage collection. It's almost addicting. I can't wait for another sale.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be a weird way to use these, but these bowls were the absolute perfect fit for us and our cats. They're glass on bottom with non-slip silicone, so the cats can't easily move them, and the lid latches down so they can't open it. Also, they're cute to boot! I would absolutely also use these as lunch containers, they are excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this bowl before and wanted to purchase another one. I was happy with the bowl but slightly disappointed on the lid being plastic. My original lid was made of glass, which I loved and for that reason, I will give you guys a four star rating. Go back to making the entire bowl glass. I am even willing to pay the difference in the upgrade.

I like the size and style of this bowl. I use it for salads. The only downfall is that the lid does not open easily. I have to carry a butterknife in my lunch bag to pry the lid open. Or place a piece of plastic in between the lid and the glass to get my lid to open. It is super annoying. I just wish the lid design was better. I do not store any hot food in these. Only leafy green salads. And I still have difficulty opening them after being in my refrigerator. They stack well. I bought six of them for salad meal prep. I bought other Ello products that I wish could nest and stack in my cupboard to save space. Please let me know if anyone has tips on how to open these more easily. Anyone?

I can't open the lid!!!!!!!!!! It makes me mad that no matter how cold or hot food (and yes I cool off the food), the lid won't open. I used it about 5 times and and 5 out of 5, the lid is stuck and i can't ever open it. And it seems like I am not the only person here and I hope they can do something about it.
