My eleven year old granddaughter needed glue for school, so I surprised her with these. She LOVED the fact that they were scented, and she and her sister split them up. Pretty funny that they needed a smell test to decide who wanted them. Fun, fun, fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a grandmother, I love that these Elmer's Glue Sticks are non toxic and easily wash off my grandchildren's hands & clothing. They are very easy to use. Simply pull up on the caps using a twisting motion to remove them. Then twist the bottom section clockwise to raise the stick and counterclockwise to lower it. This 12 Pack of Both Scented & Disappearing Purple Glue Sticks is perfect for adding fun to our arts & crafts sessions. The Disappearing Glue Sticks are purple in color when applied, making it easy to see WHERE the glue has been applied. The purple color fades to clear once the glue dries. There are 6 of these in the package, which allows me to give each grandchild their own glue stick, thereby eliminating squabbles over taking turns. The Scented Glue Sticks are my grandchildren's Favorite Elmer's Glue Sticks to use. Just naming the scents makes my mouth water. The package includes 1 each of Watermelon, Chocolate Brownie, Blueberry Muffin, Mango Pineapple, Sugar Cookie & Apple Pie scented glue sticks. When I have more than 2 of my grandchildren with me, I let each of them smell every glue stick before we start our arts & crafts sessions. They are better at sharing these glue sticks, because they like smelling all of the different scents when working on their projects. I quickly learned that I have to keep a closer eye on the younger grandchildren, as the Scented Glue Sticks really do smell good enough to eat. Would highly recommend them! .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Elmer's Washable School glue and it works really well. For art projects it does the job. The purple glue is great because it does disappear after it dries. The clear scented glues work just as well. I am not sure about some of the scents though. The apple pie, blueberry muffin, and pineapple smells good, but the chocolate brownie and sugar cookie do not smell like it says it should.

This set is great for all school age children and any child over three and works great . It comes with six disappearing purple glue sticks and six scented glue sticks. The kids will love the new scented glue stick with watermelon, apple pie ,sugar cookie and others. A must have for school projects and a brand you trust.

Elmer's has another fantastic product! We've been using these glue sticks in our household for years. They're generally reasonably priced and a great choice for glue sticks. The added bonus is that the glue is purple when you apply it, so you can easily see where to place the item you want to paste. This prevents you from not knowing where you applied your glue because most glues are transparent. The catch is that the purple color disappears after a short while, so in the end, the glue is transparent, and you cannot see it on the paper It's a truly ingenious invention. The only downside is that the glue doesn't stick very well, so you may need to reapply it a few times. However, this is normal and happens with any other glue stick I've tried. Overall, Elmer's is the best.

These are the typical gluesticks that I've been using since eating glue in elementary school... (come on - admit you've done it too!!). Now game changer - they have 6 glue sticks that smell yummy!! Watermelon (smells just like it), blueberry muffin (very light smell) , mango tangerine (lots of citrus), Chocolate brownie (was disappointed in this one- not much smell) Sugar Cookie (yummy!!) and Apple pie (so good). They are clear gluesticks and have a distinct smell. Please watch your children with these, because they smell good enough to eat!
