Plastic, but inexpensive and very displayable.
An inexpensive frame suitable for displaying a bank note, The darker colors are appropriate, not distracting or extreme. It's a plastic frame with a plastic window, making it lightweight for easy hanging. It also comes ready to display on a desk, bookshelf or table. The mat is appropriately undersized, allowing you to secure the note to the backside of the mat and while hiding 'white space' surrounding the printed parts of the note. Being plastic I wouldn't say it's museum quality But..., there's no telltale manufacturing flaw that would make it look cheap. Overall a good value for what it is.
