Elta MD UV Luminous Broad Spectrum SPF 41 1.7 oz

I am incredibly disappointed with this product. I brought the unopened tinted sunscreen on vacation. I should have brought a backup because I found the product completely unusable. When I went to use it for the first time, it came out of the tube dry, crumbly, and looked like a caterpillar caught for too many hours in the desert sun. I attempted to smush/smear it with my fingers to see if it would miraculously change texture, to no avail. Spackle has a better consistency and more moisture than this sunscreen. Since I had no backup, I had to do without. Did I get sunburn? You bet. Should I have headed the advise of other reviewers and not gotten this product? Absolutely.

The sample I first used was excellent nice rosy tint. My purchase of full size was not rosy tint at all and lumpy texture. Next full size purchase was creamy but barely rose tint. Would be great if only it was creamy texture with rosy tint.

Texture was clumpy and very dry. Squeezed a small amount on my finger and it was so dry it rolled right off my finger in one clump. When I was able to finally work it into my skin it left a white cast on the skin. Would not recommend or purchase again.

The tint on this is on point for those of us with lighter skin. Texture is good. I also use on the back of my hands to minimize sun spots

The product I received is crumbly and impossible to use without mixing with moisturizer. Is this how it was meant to be? I had such high hopes for it, based on my experience with other eltamd products.

I've always loved EltaMD SPFs so was excited to try a new variety. However, this makes me look like a ghost. I have to mix it with my clear and tinted SPFs for it to be usable and even then it's an overwhelming sparkly white. It's somehow cakey too. I'll probably have to throw it out and won't be experimenting with new EltaMD products for a while.

Product seemed odd...not liquid. Comes out as clumps. Perhaps old or heat exposed?

This is lightweight, tint is gentle, and it is non- oily. You don't know it's there. Really nice.

The texture of this product was breaking and falling apart.
