EltaMD UV Restore,Face Sunscreen, SPF 40, Mineral Sunscreen for Sun Damaged Skin Repair, Anti-Aging Zinc Oxide Sunscreen Formula

I adore this product! I was looking for a daily moisturizer with mineral SPF, and they are very hard to find (there are plenty with chemical ingredients). Since Elta is a brand I trust, I thought I would give the UV Restore a try, even though it is marketed as sunscreen. I am glad I did! This feels like a moisturizer thanks to the squalane. It goes on thick but does not feel heavy or oily once absorbed. It has a creamy consistency, and blends well into the skin. I'll often skip primer since it works well under make-up. Like most mineral SPF it has a cast, but once the product is soaked up by your skin, it is very faint and almost non-existent. When it mixes with foundation, I find it evens out the skin tone. I've purchased similar from other well-known brands and this is my favorite! It truly feels like a moisturizer vs. a sunscreen. Which is exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely love love love this sunscreen! I've been using Elta MD products for a long time and this sunscreen never fails! I have sensitive skin and it actually helps soothe my skin. I love love the feel of Elta sunscreen on my face . It's great alone or under makeup. I wear the clear but have also used the tinted. I've been using it for at least 5 years.

My dermatologist recommended this product and it has not disappointed. I often use it for my daily “foundation” since it is tinted.

My face feels dry. The product leaves me looking ghostly, however I will say that my face spot have cleared a little. But, at the price of being dehydrated and wrinkly I think I'll shop around for a different product.

I have used EltaMD for years, but I was not at all happy with this particular product. It was too thick and had a significant white cast. I prefer something that is more wearable under makeup.

I purchased this product because it said it was great for dry skin, I found it way too greasy and not a good option for under make up. Also purchased the one with green tint and that was amazing.

Expensive, disappointing dermatology product . Not moisturizing enough.

The claim was that this was good under makeup but it is too thick.

Not for Black people. It leaves the worst blue cast that I've ever experienced. After rubbing it in, the cast returns in 20 mins
