Over-all...It's a great little "PC"...n its own rite...It's a little more complicated in some ways , but I'm getting use to the way it operates. The only 2 things I don't care for on it is: 1) If you shut down the tablet, you have to re-pair the bluetooth connection with the keyboard every time. AND... The "stand".... SUCKS! TOO WIMPY to support the tablet!!! I've had to rig a stand to make he tablet easier to view while typing, or watching videos! I'm looking foe another tablet stand to remedy this. Thanks for asking!
I chose this tablet for the price and quad core processor. After considering several brands and models and all the stats, this one seemed to meet my needs for web browsing and email. The 1GB memory is plenty fast enough for me and it doesn't feel like an inexpensive tablet. So far no problems and the touch screen works well. I upgraded to windows 10 with no problems. I think I made a wise choice. The bonus is the bluetooth keyboard that came with it, but I'm finding most of the time the touchscreen keyboard to be more convenient.
My boss was impressed when I used this tablet during a presentation. I had an app that controlled PowerPoint and let me draw on the slides, too. The apps were reasonably priced and made my presentation stand out, plus my boss gave me the green light on my proposal.
I needed a tablet to download apps for conferences and other events I attend, but I really prefer to work from a keyboard. My brother helped me find this Ematic and it works great and is easy to use. The price was good, too! Whenever I travel this will be in my bag for sure.
Nice substitute for an actual laptop! I bought a wireless mouse for it as well! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a tablet...just don't close the tablet and keyboard together! I scratched my screen that way haha
I've had this tablet about a week and am still learning its language so these comments are based on my first impressions. It is a powerful tablet with full functionality. Has both desktop and start screens so you can use it like an android or like your windows computer. Keyboard works great. Wi-Fi works great. Access to the internet works great. Bluetooth works great. Windows functions are familiar ones. A little difficult to get going due to a poor (typical) users manual. Ematic could probably prevent a lot of returns from frustrated users if they invested a little more time and effort to produce a "good" users manual. Screen has a tendency to scratch or mar so care is advised. Wonder what it will look like in a year - or two. But for someone who is willing to "tinker" on startup and configuration it is a great little tablet and incredibly powerful for its size.
Product works for the most part. Pairing the Bluetooth keyboard was very wonky and wouldn't work then randomly started working. Tech support is a joke - better to self-diagnose
I was really surprise about the flexibility that this tablet gives me, being able to use it as a tablet and a laptop was excellent. It is big enough as a tablet I can see everything needed and small enough as a laptop that I can carry it in my purse. I do not like the ideal that it doesn't give me an option to turn off the sign in at the opening screen and that it doesn't always connect to laptop keyboard. I like the windows program and am enjoying learning how to use it. I would recommend it to my family and friends. I also would buy another one especially at this price.
I couldn't get the keyboard to connect or get it to connect to my bluetooth speaker. It did connect with my wireless printer and otherwise it was OK.
Having a problem not covered by the owners manual, I tried to contact Ematic support. Filling out a request at the Ematic support site: http://www.ematic.us/support garnered no response. Ematic 8.9 model EWT932PN is NOT listed on their site. Their message APP always had the message, "Sorry, we aren't online at the moment. Leave a message and we'll get back to you." I haven't been able to determine if there are any days and times when "support" is online. No response An email to their service address came back as below. <[email protected]>: Remote host said: 552-Requested mail action aborted: exceeded storage allocation 552-Quota exceeded. 552 For explanation visit http://postmaster.1and1.com/en/error-messages?ip=98.139.212.180&c=quot [RCPT_TO]
