Over-all...It's a great little "PC"...n its own rite...It's a little more complicated in some ways , but I'm getting use to the way it operates. The only 2 things I don't care for on it is: 1) If you shut down the tablet, you have to re-pair the bluetooth connection with the keyboard every time. AND... The "stand".... SUCKS! TOO WIMPY to support the tablet!!! I've had to rig a stand to make he tablet easier to view while typing, or watching videos! I'm looking foe another tablet stand to remedy this. Thanks for asking!
I had originally bought this tablet for my daughter but I liked it so much I am going to keep it for myself. I ordered another tablet for her because she mostly plays games on it. I am going to use this one for travel all I needed was a wireless mouse and an adapter to plug in more USB devices and I am ready to go. I love this tablet it's easy to use in desktop mode and the keyboards and easy to use, both onscreen and detachable work great. Bluetooth function works good with my Bluetooth speaker.
Nice substitute for an actual laptop! I bought a wireless mouse for it as well! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a tablet...just don't close the tablet and keyboard together! I scratched my screen that way haha
My son got one (16gb) for his younger - seen it and thought it (got a 32gb) would be good for my to travel with. Was impressed with the specs and with the price tag. Still learning it all with windows 10 (same for my home computer - windows 10). Seem to have everything I will need.
The 8.9" screen size is just right, its wider than others. Good buy for a tablet with a keyboard. I wish I would've been able to see it in the store first cause the case is a little flimsy and clumsy. You can't sit it up on your lap without something underneath it. The tablet is held in place by an adhesive, I am afraid that will give out later. I did find a work around for the case issue and think the tablet is still worth the money.
Product works for the most part. Pairing the Bluetooth keyboard was very wonky and wouldn't work then randomly started working. Tech support is a joke - better to self-diagnose
Pro: Nice size screen, nice size keyboard. It seems to do what it is supposed to do, which is Windows 10 (pre-installed on mine) with basic usage (email, browsing) Con: if you have external storage, you have to chose between it and charging the device. I saw a few solutions for this on the web, but I was not whelmed with them. You cannot boot from an external device. There is insufficient documentation. If you Google this product, you'll see a guy ranting about his disaster upgrading to Windows 10. Upgrading has been a disaster for most everyone on every machine, but particularly the least expensive machines. Ematic should have responded to him with, "Send it back and we'll set it right." Bottom line, it's fine if you DON'T DO ANYTHING FANCY
I was really surprise about the flexibility that this tablet gives me, being able to use it as a tablet and a laptop was excellent. It is big enough as a tablet I can see everything needed and small enough as a laptop that I can carry it in my purse. I do not like the ideal that it doesn't give me an option to turn off the sign in at the opening screen and that it doesn't always connect to laptop keyboard. I like the windows program and am enjoying learning how to use it. I would recommend it to my family and friends. I also would buy another one especially at this price.
I couldn't get the keyboard to connect or get it to connect to my bluetooth speaker. It did connect with my wireless printer and otherwise it was OK.
Having a problem not covered by the owners manual, I tried to contact Ematic support. Filling out a request at the Ematic support site: http://www.ematic.us/support garnered no response. Ematic 8.9 model EWT932PN is NOT listed on their site. Their message APP always had the message, "Sorry, we aren't online at the moment. Leave a message and we'll get back to you." I haven't been able to determine if there are any days and times when "support" is online. No response An email to their service address came back as below. <[email protected]>: Remote host said: 552-Requested mail action aborted: exceeded storage allocation 552-Quota exceeded. 552 For explanation visit http://postmaster.1and1.com/en/error-messages?ip=98.139.212.180&c=quot [RCPT_TO]
