Ematic EGS108 8" Genesis Prime Multi-Touch Tablet, 4GB, Android 4.1

I've had this tablet for about two weeks. It's not the fastest and it's not the slowest. It's in between. I bought this tablet for my 89 year old grandmother to play card games and other games that she likes. She is very happy with it and was able to pick up how to use it very easily. We added a micro SD card so there would be more storage for the apps. I will say that we needed to update the Amazon app right out of the box in order to download games or just to browse amazon. Its the perfect size for her. I have a 7 inch tablet and she thought it was too small for her so this 8 inch is perfect, however its not the normal 8 inch tablet that you would find in other brands. Pro's Can enlarge the letters so people with not so great eye site can read Apps are easy to install Can add a micro SD card for more memory Camera quality is so so Can put main apps on the home screen Con's Comes with apps that we do not need (take up a lot of room) Cannot delete apps that came preinstalled on device Can not find a case/cover to fit this anywhere Cannot find a screen protector to fit this anywhere To sum it up... it's a nice tablet if you add the SD card and don't mind not being able to find a case/screen protector for it.

I am truly amazed with this tablet. I definitely recommend this product 100 percent. Great tablet for the price!!!!!

Besides being very slow, the tablet has a habit of freezing up while using a reader or browsing on the internet. Thankfully there is a reset button on the side that usually works to free it up, but the fact you have to start everything over again is inconvenient at best. You get what you pay for!

I didn't get the cord to plug it in, so I don't know how itbworks.

I had to return this to the store. The volume button was broken and I was unable to get it out of safe mode.

Could not get app. Store to come up. Signed into Internet tablet would say no Internet connection.

This item shows google play being on the tablet, It is not, it is a prime tablet which only supports amazons apps store. Advertised as one thing but you get another. Might as well just buy amazons fire tablet for the same price and at least you have an amazon product, not this. Very sad about this too. All the great reviews on it i was excited to get it.

It was a replacement for our daughter's RCA Voyager that froze up and quit working. This was a lemon out of the box. It wouldn't update, wouldn't allow any downloads, was SO SLOW operating Opera as the browser, and would not allow any updates to the other browser. I don't know if it was just a factory lemon, or if this is how this particular model is, but I wouldn't recommend it. I am well versed in computer use and I had a hard time getting it to even operate Opera, so it was completely useless for our daughter. Also 2 days after we ordered it it was $4 cheaper suddenly!
