Ematic EPD919BTL Portable DVD Player, 9" Display, Black

Great product, Needs a more easy to follow detailed operating guide. A "no ground" antenna would be good for fully portable outdoor use. Those would be readily directly connected to the unit. Saw those at Walmart for approx $12 in the "as seen on tv" shelf. The telescoping magnetic mount antenna that comes with the product needs to be set on steel. e.g. vehicle body, steel railing, steel furniture, or appliance.

Not real happy with this TV thinking of returning it, not getting many channels and had to buy a better antenna since the one that comes with it is junk and doesn't even work. You have to keep moving the TV antenna all over the place to get some channels. The color is good and the screen size is okay. But if you want to watch TV you have to go through so many steps just to there.. don't like that. But over all it is okay not worth the money or time.

Works great outside or in my truck. Needs a better antenna for indoors. I was able to watch my college and pro football games while working outside away from home.

Nice little addition for camping Battery holds well. clear picture. plays dvd's and is a television as well.

I received it before the due date, nicely wrapped and it's a nice looking TV/DVD. The DVD is great, the screen colors are sharp, the TV takes seconds to scan its easy and once scan the channels remain until there scanned again by your choice..what I like about it too is that it folds like a book so the TV and DVD is protected. It's a really nice portable DVD/TV it's exactly as described, Thank you for your Product this one is definitely a good choice I made !!!!!

great picture

screen bad, all distorted and swirly, they are sending another, hope it works.

AV Out does Not work - cannot use as a DVD player attached to separate TV. Screen too bright and reducing brightness does not help because screen does not have good contrast either. TV tuner works fine. The power adaptor stopped working after 1yr.

The good: 1. Display resolution is 800x480. Good enough for both HD TV and DVD. 2. It has ATSC tuner so it will receive over the air TV programs (doesn't work with free/local cable channels). The bad: 1. The DVD cover doesn't close properly so the dvd player won't work out of the box. I had to use some creative ideas to fix it. 2. Color is acceptable but not natural enough. 3. Cannot adjust picture size to match DVD movie format (wide or 4:3). The only setting (default) is "wide" doesn't matter what setting you choose (they don't work although the setting options are there), so expect some DVD movies will be starched to Wide although it should be 4:3 and there is nothing you can do about it. 4. Workmanship is just OK, not great. Still a good buy if you like to watch TV and play DVD disks on the same unit.

Lasted me for almost a year and it's still working to this very day. I'd like to commend this product. Great work! The lifespan of this device is unbelievable.
