Ematic Tablet Accessory Kit with Bluetooth Speaker

I would recommend this product, it includes A bluetooth speaker that has very good sound, I played music from my I phone. This set includes a wall charger with 2 USB ports, 3 ft. AUX cablet, 2.1 car charger with 2 USB ports. A 3 ft. Micro USB cable, Audio splitter to connect 2 headphones at same time plus a cleaner cloth.

Okay--let me begin with saying that I am NOT a techie; what I know about electronics & accessories is amazingly small. With that said, I haven't been sure just what to say about it. Basically, it's a bundle of items that lets you turn your device into a phone, mini-computer, whatever--and even I could figure it out! There are 7 pieces, everything from a cleaning cloth to a small, compact speaker. There's a wall charger with 2 ports, and a car charger the same; two 3-foot cables, an Auxiliary 'cablet' for smartphones, CD players & laptops, MP3s, and a Micro USB to charge & sync with smartphones, GPS, MP3s, tablets, cameras and more; there's an Audio Splitter to connect 2 headphones; and the cleaning cloth and the speaker. The speaker is about 2" high and 2" in diameter, has approximately a 30-foot range, speakerphone, playback, built in battery, it's portable, and has about a 5-hr battery life. Connect it and go wireless for music or calls. It works with both Android & iPhone devices, so you're pretty well covered. It is very reasonably priced; I can't think of anything else I would need to up-grade my tablets--I have 2 and it works with both of them, and my phone. The possibilities just keep going!

A handy kit with all the accessories you need to connect to your electronics. The speaker has a very clear tone and is small enough to fit just about anywhere. I am not a tech savvy person so I would have liked a more extensive instruction booklet but I am sure anyone who is into electronics will have no problem using this kit.

The Ematic Tablet Accessory Kit with Speaker (EP218) is a nice concept. The speaker is compact and all the accessories help you to connect it to a variety of devices. However, the "voice" on the speaker is much too loud and you cannot turn it down. As a matter of fact, I found it difficult to turn the speaker itself down. And, the connection via bluetooth is variable. If the item you connect too goes to another room, it loses the connection (less than 10 feet away!) So, while this is a cute little speaker, I think the technology needs a little tweaking for it to be a functional item.

I was in a bit of a hurry when I chose this speaker for my android, and didn't know that it had the added bonus of being able to use it with my cell phone. It will be great for conference calls. I like all the connectors that accompany it. I like that it comes with both a wall charger and a charger that I can plug into my car lighter. Although I love the shape for home use, it's a bit cumbersome for travel. When using it on my computer, the volume wasn't a good match. I had my computer volume turned half way up, but I could barely hear it through this Bluetooth speaker. If I were only using it for my android, I'd say that the sound quality was good; but, while my android is switching stations of music to listen to, this speaker makes a static noise, which I did not like. Also, it flashes a blue light constantly. When it is ready to connect, a voice comes on and states the function that you just connected to. The speed of the flashing light increases. I would prefer it stay on, instead of flashing. I would prefer a book manual that explains everything I need to know about the device. A tiny instruction guide of about two inches high, is included. The back of the box has a description of each component and its function. Despite the two annoying features, I'm satisfied with the acoustics when using it with my android.

I know this is an inexpensive Bluetooth with lots of accessories, and I couldn't find fault with any of the included accessories - they worked, all of them, just fine. It's the main speaker unit that I have a problem with, but to me the problems with it are huge. First, that blue blinking light! If you use the speaker in Bluetooth mode paired with, for instance, your tablet, laptop or phone, as I did just recently, this blue light (see picture) will blink continuously. It will NOT even stay steady; it will NOT turn off at any point until you turn the speaker off. I took the speaker for a drive with me and ended up having to put it on the floor of my vehicle as the sun set just in case the blinking blue light became a distraction for me or anyone else. The second problem with the speaker, in my opinion, was the volume levels. Even at this price, I would have thought the volume could be adjusted at least up or down a little more, but there is only a tiny adjustment that can be made, and that's it. No soft, nothing close to loud, just a mid-range. There is no bass or treble setting, though I'm not too surprised at this price, and that's okay. At any rate, it's nice to include a mic splitter, and the cord works fine and it charges great, and it may work okay for some, but not me; I just can't get over that blinking blue light and inadequate sound quality.

After the first full charge, the speaker only works while connected to a power source. Volume for the voice announcing pairing and ready to connect status cannot be adjusted and therefore screams at you painfully every time you use the device. Sound quality was okay, if you could use the provided buttons to actually control the volume that is. The device combines volume and track advance functions all in one slider, and if you don't use it with just the right touch it skips tracks instead of adjusting volume. The other accessories are handy backups to dongles you probably already have, but I question their quality and durability based on my experience with the speaker itself.

Item arrived DOA. It would not charge and make noise and static when connected to power. I figured I didnt lose much so open it for repair instead of the hassle of attempting return. The only problem was the cheap undersized wiring to the battery was corroded had far to much resistance to charge or function. After removal and reattaching it was fully functional. Speaker sounds bad cheap etc but may be a similar problem as battery with cheap wire. Microphone is weak and echoes bad. Charger seems to work fine. Come with a somewhat pointless cable with aux jack as the unit nor accessories have a female receptacle that can be used. Makes you wonder what some are thinking. lol

Poor Quality. burned 🔥 today and come out a little bit of smoke. luckily, it's not too much. don't buy it again anymore.

The speaker had a piece of tape over the power switch I wondered why. when I picked the speaker up out of the pack the bottom feel off so I had to put glue in the 3 holes where the screws was on the bottom. If it wasn't broke then it would have been 5 stars because it works good. But whoever put the speaker in the box knew it was broken because factory mechines don't put construction tape on products.
