Emax Compressor 5HP 1PH 80GAL Stat Hulk Silent Indstrl Comp

This is a very well built compressor and the eMax customer support is excellent! All the features work as they are advertised. Shipping was earlier than expected and the shipper was very helpful. Great product, great support, outstanding warranty, what more can I say.

My older air compressor was on it's last leg so I needed to replace it. I wanted something with twice the air volume since I was doing a lot of sand blaster cabinet work. After a ton of research I settled on this one. It arrived strapped to a pallet in great condition. about an hour later I had it wired up and kicked it on. The Silent technology makes a huge difference. I can now carry on a conversation while it is running. I agree that the decibel level is around 25% less than a standard compressor and the volume excellent around at 18 cfm. I also updated my shop to 3/8" ID lines and fittings to get the full use out of this. So glad I purchased this rather than a different compressor.

This product took 6 weeks to receive but it was worth it in the long run. It was shipped in an awesome angle iron support cage and was in perfect shape...not even a small scratch anywhere. Easy to wire up and fired up with no issues. Is pretty quiet overall in comparison to the oil-less one I had. What can you say...made in the USA! Excellent company...

So much quieter than any compressor I've heard

I ordered this on 8/27/2021. I finally received it around 11/04/2021. I just started using last week. Just glad I didn't need right away. It's quieter than most piston compressors but definitely not silent. Makes plenty of air and recovers quickly. I'm using it in a small machine shop so demand for air is not high but if I expand I'm sure this would keep up with any future needs. Overall for the price I'm very happy with it.

I wanted to first start by saying this unit had a steel cage around it and it was very well packaged. I used the steel to build an enclosure for the unit. This unit sat for three weeks with 150 PSI that never bleeds off. The unit is very quiet and was very well built. So far I am very happy and would recommend this unit.

I bought the Hulk by EMAX Silent 5 HP, 2-Stage, 80-Gallon Vertical compressor for my shop and so far nothing that can't keep up. There's a lot of heavy grinders and air tools so far been a great addition to the shop

Debated buying a screw compressor but decided I'd try the "Silent" Hulk. Just started it yesterday and its quite a bit quiter than my last 5 hp Engersol. Of course its pricier than most other 5 hp compressors but I'd say its worth it if its near a workspace. Big Tank, 175 max pressure set from factory, looks like it will be fine for my useage.

I took a gamble on the sales pitch of being "silent" and glad I did. The "silencer" does a very good job of quieting down the sound that we have all come to know from large air compressors. When it turns on we no longer have to stop talking in our shop to be able to hear each other like we did with our old compressor. It pumps up fast to the max 175psi, which I lowered to 145psi for our needs which was simple on the pressure switch. There was a slight air leak from the check valve fitting into the tank but I re-taped and reapplied sealant to the threads and stopped it. One complaint is the very small plastic box the starter is in could be bigger since trying to bend and land 8AWG wires into it was a little tough an extra inch on all sides wouldn't hurt. The air compressor was packaged well and no signs of shipping damage at all.
