I keep Control while I'm away during the day or at work
Bought a month ago and it was a great upgrade for me
Had the wifi enabled thermostat for about a month now. Its been very helpful. I am using most of the features that it offers. However i did install my own HVAC system so the wiring was very simplistic with the diagram. Only issue was not having a full owners manual to learn how to switch thermostat wiring modes; was on the phone with customer support for a few hours with a couple different people. All in all the system works great and the technical team was great just took the time to find the right person.
I love features like : being able to program the fan to go on a few minutes during each hour without heating or cooling function, and email letting me know if humidity is too high or two low for comfort so that I use LESS power for heating or cooling!
I have been looking around for a thermostat that doesn't require the common wire. I didn't find any that I liked feature wise (too excessive). I wanted easy install, app controlled & ability to function with Alexa. I absolutely loved the installation app, step by step instruction's, even a man would follow the app! The simplicity of syncing it with your WiFi, scan a QR code and done. Schedule feature is also one I needed, this is perfect. There are some features with changing the fans timing etc,. The price was incredible for now that I've installed it and have used it for over a month. Re-syncing the thermostat they couldn't have made it easier with a QR coded card. This is a long reiview but it's worth it. I rarely submit reviews on products.
I was impressed with all the features. Easy install with good installation instructions. I really like the feature for air circulation. You can have the fan run for a programmable number of minutes per hour for air circulation.
I bought one at my previous house and loved it. It gives you energy reports, alerts, remote access and many other awesome features. I bought and installed another one at my new home. It is very easy to self install!!
Have had this smart thermostat for approximately one month. We love having it connected to our WiFi and being able to operate it remotely, in the house or away from. I can always see the house temperature!
I purchased this a month ago when we added improvements to our HVAC system. Out of the box the units were up and running in 20 minutes! Super simple to download the app and start managing our systems. I highly recommend.
This is a great T-Stat. Simple controls, easy to install, likely will not require a C wire for most installations. It had the only 2 features I really wanted; control through wifi and the ability to build schedules. The Sensi app works flawlessly and offers additional controls in the settings menu to control cycle times which works pretty decent although I would rather have control of the actual dead band. Integration into Smart Things also works well. Who this stat is not for, Anyone that wants a fancy color touch screen with a bunch of superfluous information, learning functions, occupancy detection or multi location remote sensing functionality. Connection to high efficiency units that have both multi stage heating and multi stage cooling. It has the connection for the reversing valve for a heat pump system but the stat will only handle a heat pump with either aux heat strips or 2 stage cooling but not both as it only offers 1 aux connection for a second stage that you program for either heat or cooling. Same applies to a gas fired furnace either 2 stage on the heat and single stage cool or vice versa. This is really the only improvement I would make to the unit is the ability to do 2 stage heat/cool both.
