[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Sharper Image I got to try this digital bank out in exchange for my true and honest opinion. I had doubts that it would be accurate thinking I could trick the counter into thinking some coins went in when they did not, however I failed! It is spot on accurate and did not let me manipulate it in any way. Now, if you decide that you want to remove some money from this bank, or even add change without using the slot, you can adjust the counter to reflect that amount. The instructions are very easy to follow. Upon opening this bank, I did need to place 2 triple A batteries in the lid and from there is was easy counting. I have nothing negative to say about this item. I do recommend it as my son and I are enjoying setting a goal and watching this counter go up. It would make a really nice gift. 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed the counting jar. This is from Discovery Kids. This is a pretty nice coin counting jar. It is very sturdy. Thick plastic, not flimsy at all. Has a digital lid. What I liked most about this counting jar is that with every coin you add the digital screen will tell you how much is in the jar. Leave it sitting for a minute or two and it will shut off on it's own. Hit the addition button, hold it in until it turns on and it will tell you how much is in your jar, picking up from where you left off on it the last time you used it. It's very cool. My oldest daughter liked putting coins in the jar watching the coin count rise. Hit the negative button on it if you want to take money out of the jar. This in return is great for kids or adult use. It promotes healthy spending habits.. saving your money for when you need it most, or whenever you want to splurge. Will recommend this product to family and friends. Thank you!

I definitely love it as it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It didn't come with batteries but it's ok as I had just purchased the needed batteries for it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this coin counting jar. It correctly counts my coins as I place them in the slot. It is not like most counting jars that miscount this jar is actually accurate! No need to worry about recounting for yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bank for anyone. I know it's marketed for kids, but we use it as our “loose-change/fun fund”. It's a large jar (bigger than a mason jar), with a screw top. You drop the change in the top and it calculates the coin and the total amount. It does what it is supposed to do, however it is a “slow” product. It takes some time to drop the change and have the jar calculate it. It requires batteries.

Just not for adults. Too small. Need one about 3 times larger.
