cools very well, quiet, with a remote too! high cooling power.

Seems very quiet the small amt of time we tried it, won't know for sure until summer though.

The display is on top and cannot see from in front. Buttons are not intuitive, and remote is also not intuitive. This is a big deal if your laying in bed trying to figure what the temp is set at. I.E. buy the Penguino that has the display in front and a solid intuitive remote. Performance is great, no problem with it.

Fried my electric outlet within minutes of use. Returned for refund.

Arrived a few days ago and set it up in my bedroom had to remove it and close the window because of the smell of rotting vegetation I thought was coming from outside. Moved it into the kitchen today now the whole house stinks like rotting vegetation. I put a pan under to drain, and removed the lower and upper plugs. Not a lot of water in the pan less than a quarter cup. I removed the back filter and can see water inside. I have to put it outside it smells so bad, Even Lysol Neutra Air which works on skunk isn't helping. I can't use this.

Returned immediately. Top of box, has Big Warnings stating Cancer and Reproductive Hazard. No way we will use a product with these hazards to our lives. Insane a company would be proud to sell a product that can harm a life. As long as you put it on the package youve done your job. No way. Ive survived cancer once, I dont need a product from a company that can harm me.

So loud will not cool one bedroom and its 10,000 btu our smaller window unit cools way better and was less than half the price, don't waste your $
