It does go through batteries pretty fast. 2 AAAs every month and a half, and there's no warning, just cold. Got some rechargeables and it doesn't hurt too bad.. But, oh! The sweet satisfaction of turning up the heat while staying in bed and waiting for the house to warm before I leave the electric blankie!
I love my Sensi thermostat. you can program it from your phone and what are the features I love is that you can put it to do fan circulation every so often per hour whatever you choose. I have mine on 6 minutes that's the lowest setting so when my air conditioning is on the circulating fan brings the cool air from the basement up and keeps my home the perfect temperature. it's very easy to use
We really like the readout. The only issue is that you have to operate with an app and that might be an issue for tech challenged / averse users. But it was easy to install. We just copied the wiring from the photo we took. The app was nice and you could use that to install but again, not for tech challenged people. It did stay connected to wifi so far. That's what we wanted it for. To change the temp or control the thermostat from up close or afar.
I purchased this as a replacement for my Nest thermostat that never worked for me. I installed it myself-it was straightforward. It’s easy to use, no aggravation (unlike the nest) and the app is also nice. A future improvement would be including a backplate: There is no backplate to cover any existing wall damage and the thermostat is small.
I bought this product for my 25 year old son and he really enjoys it. It has a refreshing clean sent that lasts through the day. No skin dryness or need to use a big amount. We were just trying something new and now it’s his favorite!
I love this thermostat, however, I returned this one and bought the exact same one on Walmart for $2 cheaper from someone else. so make sure you check before you click by because you can get the same one for less money from a different vendor
At first, I was worried as there were a few negative reviews. Also it had trouble connecting with the home WiFi... but... You must download the app as it has clear video instructions on how to install it. Follow the steps to first identify the labeling of the wires based on the old thermostat connections. The app will tell you if it's compatible with your HVAC. If so, you'll finalize the installation and move to connecting it to your home WiFi. it wasn't scanning the networks available following the instructions. i played with the 3 dots configuration multiple times, holding it and retrying the app, scanning the network. Finally, the thermostat display was playing segments on and off and the available networks show in the app. Once configured everything was easy and intuitive to program and the utilities company provides a $100 rebate for this thermostat. Getting it free plus extra money. Get one!
I hooked this up myself in less than an hour. Easy peasy. Plus AEP sent me a $50 Visa card so they can control it during the hot summers. Great deal
Easy to install. Works great. Will help with Summer Smart hours with the electric company and I should get a rebate from them.
Got this a week ago and I was pleased. Nice face, fit well where our other was, %26 fairly easy to program. However this week it is NOT changing the temperature that was programmed, instead I have to do it from my phone. No idea what it will do next week...maybe quit working? All in all I would never recommend it as it doesn't do what it is supposed to.
