Very easy to install and operate. I love the wifi feature. This has saved me on an expensive cooling and heating bill now that I am able to monitor it better. I am very happy with the purchase
this was insanely easy to install. I was waiting for my husband to get home from work %26 I decided to mess w it a little before then %26 I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was only a few wires %26 less than 10 minutes of fiddling around to get it installed. setting up the app took longer than the install! easy to setup, easy to run, easy to maintain. I'm happy with it
Lost our first one exactly like this in a house fire. After we rebuilt I demanded we get another because I liked it so much. Love that I can control it from anywhere on the app on my phone. I get an energy discount from my electric co just for having this thermostat!
The price was good when I ordered it, but it went on sale 2 days later for $15 less so I wasn't so happy about that. Before ordering I looked to see if the thermostat was going to be on sale in the items you promoted but it wasn't there, so I ordered it.
Great thermostat. Easy to use %26 nice that you can control even when you are away from home. Also Energy Efficient
Overall happy with the thermostat only issue is using so many batteries says c wire not required but after 1st winters use looking into c wire
I've had this device for a few months now. It works better than the thermostat that came with the apartment. The only thing I have a problem with this device is that from time to time it will overcool my apt past the temperature I have it set on. For example it'll stay on and cool it to 73°F even though i have it set for 75°F which to me defeats the purpose of me trying to save money on my electric bill by not letting it run more and longer than i need it too. I also do have a dehumidifier machine that I have running during days when the temp outside is over 80°F to help keep the humidity in my apt no higher than 50% Even with these technological upgrades that I decided to invest it feels like I'm using more electricity than I did before buying these smart devices. Sigh...I just hope it doesn't jack up my electric bill by more than $10 when my electric bill gets recalculated under the budget billing program with FPL.
Installation was super easy using the app tutorial. The thermostat works great and the app's UI is really user friendly. There's a lot of customization that's possible. My only criticism is that there is no Hold feature you can toggle in order to determine wherher a manual adjustment is held indefinitely or not. When you manually adjust the temperature, it sets an automatic hold and it stays at that temperature and won't automatically resume the program at the next scheduled time interval. You have to manually select your program again if you want it to resume. Not a big deal but I would have liked to have that feature.
This item is not compatible with Apple Homekit as indicated in the product description. It also makes a clicking noise every time the HVAC system kicks on and turns off.
Do not know what happened here I ordered the Sensi it came in an open box with a Honeywell thermostat in it although looked new it was not the Sensi I ordered cost me 2- service calls and had to by from HVAC company anyway TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
