Emjoi Divine 36 Disc Battery Operated Epilator With Skin Glide

I intentionally bought a multiple blade epilator to replace shaving altogether. I had an old 1 blade epilator that was going through batteries weekly and not powerful enough to do the whole job. It works wonderfully for this and I am going to enjoy no more shaving rashes. I would recommend this to anyone -even new users- as it has virtually no pulling with the rotating blades. The handle is shaped for easy grip.

I needed a bigger epilator and decided on this Emjoi since I am already an owner of another model: Emjoi AP-9L Epi Slim Cosmetic Hair Remover, which is for smaller areas. The Emjoi Divine has 36 tweezers and I can finish the lower part of my legs within about 15 minutes. I do have to go over the same area a couple times when the hair is smaller after regrowth. I went from waxing my legs (which I love) to an epilator due to messiness. I have waxed for years and my hair always grows back thin and less and the best part: lasted at least 1 week hair free. I have used this twice and the hair grew back within days. This can only mean that half the hair it tweezes out is not pulling but cutting vs waxing pulls ALL the hair and lasts hairfree longer. So I'm hoping I can improve the use of the technique and we achieve longer periods of hairfree by having the device pull ALL the hairs like in waxing. Other than that the device does what it is meant to do and great value.

I love the way this works. As the batteries wear out it doesn't work as well so use decent batteries and if it stops working well, replace them! A friend ordered one for herself an her mom. Friend really likes it but for her mom it was not a good product. If you have loose skin and wrinkles the epilator can catch on that and hurt. If you have an area like that pull the skin taught while using. Overall a great product. Superior to waxing in my opinion.

When I first received this shaver I was already impressed by its model and style. It is a nice size, it's not too big to be held in your hands, and all the tools on the shaver are in appropriate places. It has a brush to clean the blades and a protective cover, the pink color is pretty.The on/off button is in the very front of the shaver, so this is not a product where you have to hold down the button and shave at the same time. You just press it and push it up and it stays on, this shaver also takes 3 AAA batteries. The head of this shaver is very easy to come off as well as the back where the batteries go, another thing that makes this so amazing is the tweezer blades. It has a little sting to it but it is tolerable, the after shave is very smooth. The batteries started to die after 30 minutes of using it, I recommend having extra batteries on hand. This Emjoi Divine shaver is a great shaver and I recommend this product to all women that are looking for a smooth shave. I have to run the epilator over the same area a few times for it to remove the hair. But for the price, it is great!

This product doesn't work very well. It's certainly not an epilator! Don't recommend it at all. Emjoi used to be a good product but not anymore.

I have to go over and over the same spots to try to remove the hair, it takes for ever. I think it's not worth the price.

It doesn't work at all . I've purchased 2 in the past %26 both worked quite well. Don't know why this one didn't work. I know I let too much time go by to return it . But I have been sick . Still wondering if I may return it . Please advise, %26 Thanks in advance.

This was a waste of time and money. It did not work as the instructions imply as no matter what speed I used it still left many hairs in place, even after several uses.
