East to install and works great. A steal for the price. Easy to clean and the temperature is displayed in real-time.
Of the times I've had this oven, I have received numerous compliment from my friends and they all loved it!The funny thing is that this product is advertised as DIY service needed but even all other big brands needs DIY service or hiring some installer LOL
I would highly recommend Brittany to help you pick out your appliances. I had no idea what kind of oven to get. She looked up and suggested this one and it is great. I had to get a new microwave and she picked out one for me. She knows her job and does so good.
My cabinet guy actually told me not to order this brand because he heard many bad experience from it, but I couldn't resist the look so I though I would give it try. Luckily, Empava did not disappoint me. For one, this oven looks spectacular! (Of course, that's why I bought it) Then for the installation, I didn't do it, but the electrician only charged me one hour for it so I assume it's rather simple. Last, the performance. I was deliberately cooking foods from this oven. I used 3 times so far, all of them came out as I wanted. So I guess my conclusion is that Empava does make decent product.
The instructions are not very clear. It's a beautiful oven and it cooks wonderfully!
manual could be more help on using the oven
This oven came with a poorly written user manual. I actually had to make 5x7 cards for my relative to read so that she is able to operate this oven. The attached photo is an example of one of the cards I made, which shows one how to set the oven timer. Hope this helps!Empava: Please have a technical writer modify your existing user manual so that it is easier to read. My thanks.
Seems to be fine. There is zero overhang on the bottom, will have to add a piece of trim. I would suggest you wait on the oven before building the opening. When I made the rough opening to the exact dimensions there was a gap at the top of the oven and a larger one at the bottom. Had to shim up 1/4 so there was no gap at the top. Will have to add a piece of trim to the bottom next.
I bought this wall oven to replace a very old unit in one of my rental properties. Is a very sleek and nice looking oven, and for the money it was literally half of the cost of the vast majority that I looked at. Lots of features time will tell if it holds up.
