Purchased as a gift. It has a fruity smell and it starts out strong and becomes really suttle great scent for men.

I needed to get this L'extreme in my arsenal to test for myself. Exquisite and top class! Just to keep it short and sweet. The ladies are smiling frozen in time. I think it's best I do not wear this one to work. Top Class Parfum!

The product is dark and brooding and sensational. A nice alternative to the overly sweet stuff so commonplace these days. Shipping was fast and efficient.

I've been wearing Encre Noire A L'Extreme by Lalique for a little bit of time now, and it's definitely become one of my favorites for cooler weather. This fragrance is rich, bold, and perfect if you're into darker, woodsy scents. The opening hits with cypress and a hint of bergamot, which quickly deepens with smoky vetiver and incense in the middle. It has this earthy, almost mysterious quality that feels sophisticated and masculine without being too overpowering. The dry down is fantastic — you get warm notes of patchouli, sandalwood, and a touch of benzoin that make it last for hours. I'd recommend it more for evening wear or colder days since it's quite intense. If you're into unique, confident scents that leave an impression, this one is a must-try!

One of the things I find very counterintuitive is that this is the “extreme” version of the original encre noire. However, the original has a stronger smell and lasts longer…. This “a la extreme” is the toned down and fresher smelling version of the original. Of course I love the scent, but honestly save yourself some money and buy the original one, it is cheaper and lasts longer.

Initially it's a little on the chemical side to my nose,, 10 minutes later it's quite good... Woodsy and resin which is my thing..

Fake product warning! I priorly used ENCRE NOIRE for a year and loved everybit of it, but this time my only mistake was to order from walmart. I sprayed my old encre noire bottle on one wrist and the new one on the other. And the new one from walmart had no smell and didn't even last for 10 min, while the original old bottle was smelling amazing and lasted for hours. it's a fake product, never ordering perfumes from walmart or suggesting anyone to.
