we have this plugged in for our reptile room lamps to control them for day and night. it gave me an immediate notice on my phone that the signal went down. wires in my outlet had burnt/shorted and having this plug prevented us from having a house fire by giving us a heads up right away

The Energizer Connect performs admirably and is easy to set up. This product offers excellent value, as similar smart Wi-Fi outlets from other brands tend to be more expensive. I highly recommend this item; you will not be disappointed. I currently have four separate devices connected to it. My previous two units from a different brand recently ceased functioning, and this has proven to be a superb replacement.

Plug has a blue light that cannot be turned off.

this smart plug was defective. once I set it up, I plugged two lights into the bottom portion, one of them being a floor lamp. which kept turning itself off for no reason every 30 minutes or so and then it would turn itself back on. customer support was useless since all I ever received was automated responses. I'm returning it for a refund, which Walmart has always been great in doing.
