I put it outside my back door since we dont have a light back. I like that I dont have to hold my trash in one hand and a light in the other to take it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when I first got it I though to install it above my entry door, but decided to get a timer for the light I have there instead. I installed it next to my garbage cans outside of the house. I had a different light there before, but it broke and this ended up being a good replacement. once in a while it gets triggered by bunnies that are running through, but other than that it is great. I hope the batteries would last for a long time. love it.

Easy to install, yellowish light. I would only use this as a small closet light. Not very bright at all. Not worth $15. But it does sense movement far away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is smaller than I initially thought, but it is still bright and mighty! I really like having this motion light over my door. It comes on automatically and shuts off automatically too. Its nice to not have to remember to shut it off when not in use. It was easy to place above my door, and provides plenty of illumination! The original batteries I installed are still going strong, so I'd say it doesn't require a ton of energy to use. I'd say this small but mighty light is a great addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this just over a month ago and I'm pretty happy with it. We got it for the bottom half of the stairs in our garage where, due to poor light switch location, you either have to leave a light on all the time or walk up the stairs in darkness. But we put this light in above the third step from the bottom and it's bright enough to light the bottom half of the stairs, which is perfect. There is a sticky pad on the bottom to secure it to a shelf, or you can use screws to secure it more firmly. The motion sensor seems to be just the right amount sensitive. It always registers us waking into the area, we haven't had to wave our hands right in front of it or found it in for no reason. My only problem is that the batteries didn't last very long. We had to replace them after just under 4 weeks, and I wish they had lasted longer.

Originally I purchased 2 of these to mount for security on the front door. That didn't work out as planned. For me, forget all about mounting. just set it where you need it indoors or out. I keep one on my roofed front porch. Admittedly, sometimes wind and rain events result in my just pulling it in for the night to not waste the battery life. The second one I now use as an indoor motion night light. I love it.
