Energizer MAX Alkaline D Batteries, 10 Count

This is the only kind of batteries that really last a long time.

So far these batteries are working great. I usually have purchased Duracell, but it seems that Sam's has quit carrying that brand. I have a house full of flameless candles so I use a lot of batteries. I think these Energizers are as good as the others. Time will tell.

The MAX doesn't begin to describe how long these last. Hours of use out of just 2 of the batteries. I was able to pop 2 of these in and get use all night long. Ordered another set just in case we have another full night of no power at the house. My camp lantern kept the whole living room bright all night long.

Another hurricane (Laura) was looming.. And could affect our area in Texas. I always assume the worst bc better to be prepared ..So immediately ordered extra batteries.. although pricey, these batteries are worth the cost. Have 3 portable fans that have the battery option.. bought them after Hurricane Rita (2005) Just experienced the worst Hurricane ever and aftermath.. Lost ac and power... Sooo glad I was prepared and could use the fans

Still prefer Energizer batteries over any others and these are usually a good deal. Of course, the best deal is when they are offering instant savings on them.

Good batteries, they do what they are supposed to do and last a long time. They also have a long expiration date on them and that's important for hurricane readiness kits.

Definitely don't last as long as Duracell batteries. I have spoken to relatives who have had the same experience. Duracell lasts longer than Energizer Max batteries. I notice this very keenly because I have numerous Luminara candles all over the house so I am aware of how frequently I change the batteries.
