[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a stairway in our tri-level home that I've always wanted to find a way to light up at night and this light does that perfectly. It is powered by batteries so it works great for an area where there aren't any outlets handy (like stairs). This light detects if one of us is approaching the stairway, then turns on giving us ample lighting to walk up and down the stair safely. Living in the country there is no outside light coming in windows so this area is very dark otherwise. This makes me feel much safer if one of us has to use the stairs at night. It came with the screws and a back bracket that was easy to attach to the wall. Then the main unit slides down on that bracket holding it in place. Super easy to use and easy to access the battery panel when they need changed. Definitely would recommend this security light.

My backyard is very dark at night due to big trees from the neighbors backyard. Now, I don't have to be paranoid when I hear noises at night because this motion light sensor will scare them away to loiter or trespass in my property. I like that this swivels so you can direct anywhere you want it focused. It is also battery operated so you don't have to worry about electrical installation. The package came with the motion light sensor, detachable wall mount and screws that are hidden at the battery compartment of the device. You will never miss it because you will hear it and you will need to open it anyway to put batteries on it. You will need 3 AA batteries to operate this device. It is very easy to install. You can screw it on any walls you want. You have the option of leaving the light on, off or automatic. You also have the option to choose how long you want the light on after activating the light which are 20 , 40 or 60 seconds. You can swivel the light up and down or left to right on 180 degrees angle. The motion sensor tilts 90 degrees as well. This light is perfect for garages, backyard or front-yard, entry doors, fences, basement, stair, shades and more. It is weather resistant as well. I am very satisfied with this product and would totally recommend to anyone.

On the box it states that you can pretty much use the light where ever you want so I set it up in my bedroom. I love that the light isn't overly bright but it's not dim either. You have to manually move the neck to whatever direction you want the light to project. The motion sensor picks up movement great ! You don't have to directly walk in front of it for it to pick of the movement

Mounting plate is easy to install and you can control direction of the light up & down and left & right. I love how it only comes on when it's dark. Has been great for us. Added bonus is it's kept the skins out of my backyard with the light turning on and being bright.

I like that it isnt over sensitive and doesnt turn on when bugs are around. But if someone walks down my driveway or comes out my house door it turns right on! It is just the right amount of brightness and the best quality security light I've seen! It's not big and bulky and that is perfect!

It also is motion sensors and that's great for us because then it's my shinning all the time. The settings are super easy to adjust. It's a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to set this up outside my front door in 5 minutes. It came with the screws that were needed to anchor it. I love the fact that you can take it off and if you need a light real quick this works great as it is portable. The features are that you can have the timer set to 20, 40 or 60 seconds. I personally have it set to 40 seconds which I think is a great time. The sensor you are able to move it up or down depending on where you would like it set at. For me having this light set outside my front door gives me the added security that I was looking for.
