The ENERLITE S countdown timer allows you to set a time limit countdown for an electrical device. It has one 3-prong outlet and gives countdowns of 15 minutes, 30 Min, 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour, and 8 hours with convenient buttons to select a countdown time. This device also has a feature to allow repeating the same countdown time period once per day, so you could use this to time a bunch of christmas lights automatically each day. I didn't test that repeat feature, but the other timer settings for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hour, 4 hour, and 8 hour were checked as working. I use this device to cut power to the e-bike charger to reduce the chance of overcharging. Technically, most ebike chargers switch to battery cell balancing mode once the battery pack is fully charged, so they are actually supposed to be left plugged in for a short time after fully charged. The specific info varies by manufacturer. This ENERLITES device has different wattage limits due to the different ways the electrical load behaves. A purely resistive load is the ideal case and has the highest wattage rating. If using electric lights the wattage limit is reduced because tungsten lamps have a high inrush current. And the lowest wattage limit is applied if the devide is a motor. This is because some motors can have a large inductive load which creates an arc when power is broken by the relay contact. This is why this device has different wattage limits for resistive load, tungsten light load, and a motor load. This device is still working after two weeks, so I feel I can review it properly now as having no unexpected results. It's working and meets my expectations so far. I haven't tried to drop test it, but it seems physically durable.
This was exactly what we needed and came as advertised. It is so easy to use. You plug it in, you press the length of time you want, and it does the rest! It's been reliable and convenient!
I have a battery that should not be charged for more than 8 hours. I simply plug the battery into this plug-in, set the timer for 8 hours and I'm done.
I needed for my plants indoors so it would only stay on a few hours and then goes off and comes back on the day and repeats itself
Great to insure my e-bikes batteries don't constantly stay on the charger which could be a fire hazard
Being bedridden I can't plug tree lights on/off and this timer takes up very little space and it's very easy to work.
It is very easy to use; you can turn it on for 15min up to 8hr and you also have the option for it to repeat daily.
Very easy to setup %26 use. I'm not a techy person.
Very handy timer with presets. Using to protect equipment from over charging.
Just what i needed to charge my e-bike
