It fit so I'm happy with it
Dealer cost is $202. For $76 with shipping it is a great value. MOST IMPORTANTLY the part fit and did not require anything extra to work so I'm happy with it.

This is definitely better than the splash shield that I had because it is solid plastic throughout. One problem I had was that the holes drilled for the screws were a little off in a couple of places. I fixed this by drilling new holes where necessary.

Ford Escape Front Engine Shield
For the most part the splash shield fit well and was a close reproduction of the original. There was some difficulty aligning the front screws requiring enlargement of the mounting holes and a difficult fit on the passenger front side of the shield. Overall I consider the shield to be adequate for its use and reasonable considering the OEM part from Ford was $194.00.

Part fits with a small amount of tweaking
The splash shield overall is of decent quality but some of the mounting holes did not exactly line up with the body mounting clips. Additionally there is an air duct on the original splash shield that is not present on the replacement.
