PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X/S is the best wired controller I have ever used. I definitely recommend this to my family and friends. I would buy again
Bought the N7 edition controller for my wife as she prefer controller (even on PC) and we're both huge Mass Effect fans. No setup needed. Just plugged in and it was ready for use in games.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 year old son doesn't always get to play Xbox one in the living room which is where it's located in our home. However Xbox has made it where you can stream and play games from any windows computer in the house. This controller has made it extremely convenient for him too play on PC without the hassle of using a wireless controller in that scenario. Plus you don't have to charge it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] recently received this new controller. I have only used the Microsoft branded Controller and the buttons and sticks get stuck after a week or usage. After using this for a week I have not found any issues! Looks like I am going wired over wireless!
The 3 wired Power A controllers are my daily driver since about a year now. I use them on my Xbox Series X and One and also on my Android Retro Game Emulator Box. Had no issues or wear out whatsoever. I love the small back buttons much better than big pedals like on other "pro" controllers. They are perfect to get used to the additional control option. I barely use the original controllers anymore.
This controller has additional features from a regular Xbox controller and functions well for what it is, a cheap replacement for the original controller. The extra back buttons are a nice feature to have but confusing to set up. The built in headset controls are also a nice feature to have. The triggers feel cheap but that's expected for a controller at this price point. It's also disappointing that the connector uses micro-USB instead of USB-C. It's not a controller I would use on a daily basis but is good for guests or children who you don't want ruining your main controllers.
Controller feels durable and like it can withstand a good amount of abuse. I'm hard on controllers and this feels like it's built well and like I don't have to worry about breaking it. It also eliminated the lag from control input completely and has the added benefit of never having to replace batteries again midway through a game.
Worked great initially, and then the dreaded stick drift. I purchased three controllers and all of them started having the stick drift problem after a couple months of light use. I have submitted a support ticket, hopefully they take care of the problem.
the Control LT bottom stopped working in less than a week of me, of me using it.
I use this controller to play Fortnite and need for speed among other games. It's ok at first but the joystick seems to stick after a month of use. Very frustrating when trying to make smooth lines or sit still. Very unhappy with my purchase. I gave them the benefit of the dougt but I am done wasting My money.
