Ensete maurelii - Red Abyssian Banana - Live Starter Plant

This arrived in January just as a gigantic weather front was crawling across the entire country. It arrived in perfect condition barely ahead of the storm front as it hit north Texas. I have seen it start to grow already in less than 3 weeks. It was packet with tape to keep the soil in place and was still a little moist. It does have some white little knots under the leaves which worry me that they may be an invasive insect egg. However, the plant itself is flourishing. I am glad to have it to place in my landscape this next Spring. Looking forward to watching it develop and grow.

My order came in well packaged. The only problem is that the plant itself is in a rough condition. This is not my first time ordering this plant, same size and same time(January) but I bought it from a different seller and it came and grew perfectly. I'm afraid that this will not survive. I'm giving it time to rest before I transplant in a bigger pot.
