My grandfather is a cancer patient who has recently been having trouble swallowing the doctor has recommended he drink these as a meal replacement since eating anything chokes him. Unfortunately they dont know what's causing it and haven't recommended a feeding tube. He's on a fixed income and is finding it hard to keep buying.

I had to have cervical spinal surgery. Before and right after surgery eating was way too painful due to pinched nerves, swelling and then the procedure itself. I also have not had the appetite to want to eat anything. Ensure Enlive taste great, I actually enjoy drinking it. It provides me with the nutrients and energy I need until I am able to eat solid foods again. I've tried the knock off brands, trust me, not the same. Ensure has been around this long for a reason. They are the best at what they do.

This is one of the only protein shakes that I have ever truly enjoyed, but as of the past 3 weeks I have been unable to find them anywhere. Truly disappointing as I know that myself and so many others enjoyed them. I've tried the other ensures and will not be purchasing them as they are disgusting to me. Please continue to produce the enlives!!!

I'm upset that I can't find Ensure Enlive in stock anywhere. Ensure Enlive vanilla is the only Ensure product I like. All the others either taste nasty or have artificial sweetners that give me migraines. BRING BACK ENSURE ENLIVE, otherwise I won't purchase any more Ensure products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ensure Enlive not only tastes good but it gives me extra energy through out the day. After my cancer operation I was lacking energy and taking it each day made me feel a positive difference. I will not do without it and look forward to a very tasteful drink of the Ensure each day. A wonderful product.

I really miss the vanilla Ensure High Protein shake because it had MORE protein (24 gms), less calories (240) and less sugar. I'm drinking the strawberry Enlive (that's the only flavor I could find) because it has more protein (20 gm) than the other products, but honestly, why soooo much sugar (20 gms), especially since nutritional guidelines suggest we intake no more than 50 gms of added sugar daily. With corn syrup and glucose as the first few ingredients, I'm assuming all the sugar falls into the "added sugar" category. And at 350 calories, this is no longer a supplement, but an actual meal replacement. Does HMB taste so awful that you need the extra sugar? And how much HMB is in each serving? (Minute amounts as they occur naturally?) Honestly, I wish you would bring back the old Ensure Hi-Protein, especially the Vanilla!

Though it may not effect everyone the same the initial ingredients that they had in enlive were great. I felt better and continued to buy their products. Recently, however, after I'd drink a bottle of ensure enlive strawberry I would become sick to my stomach and didn't understand why. It also tasted different to me. I check the ingredients to see if they added anything that I knew would get me sick and none of those triggers were added. However, I had some empty bottles that I was reusing and compared the ingredients to the recent bottles and there was definite changes. I made my last purchase of these drinks due to getting sick. I do hope you bring back the original recipe instead of using this one. On another topic. The recent change in packaging to plastic holders is also hard for the elderly and those with gripping issues to open. Caused me much trouble. Hopefully you'll fix that for those who the recent ingredient change hasn't caused them an issue.

What happened?! Years ago when my elderly father first had a stroke, the hospital gave him Ensure Enlive and like the name implies, this drink brought him back to life like a flower that was in desperate need of water. Now, three years later, something has changed - like the other reviewers are saying, it gives the person drinking it very bad diarrhea! Diarrhea makes elderly people weak! Please fix this!!
