Work as intended. Compatible with standard connections.
Don't overfill your AC when filling it with this. However, where the small leak is. You'll soon see it. It where the green is leaking out of the system.
works like it's supposed to
was able to find the leak after puttingbit in my ac line
This is a reasonably priced Freon/dye blend designed to detect leaks in your auto's A/C system. It's recommended over the self sealing kinds that may or may not work and may eventually gum up your lines. Protect your investment: fix it properly.
R134 refrigerant with dye to help detect leaks, without the stop leak stuff if u don't want to make things worse long term.
This can is a little smaller than the average freon can, but it did work. It is a little pricey too.
It was very difficult to puncture the can to open it. It worked well once it was opened.
Something not made overly clear in the product description: This is NOT R-134a, this is a 'replacement' refrigerant. It is a completely different gas. And it's quote "EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE". I only bought it because I thought it was R-134a with leak dye. I am since going to return it. And because it's flammable, if you ever got a leak in your evaporator (the part of the air conditioning inside your car) it will fill your car's inside cabin with flammable gas. It's a one in a million kind of thing, but still.
I didn't receive the charging hose that was supposed to come with the can. Under about this item-product details it says "Advanced R134a Replacement Refrigerant w/Dye Brass Charging Hose". I got the can but no hose and the Walmart AI chatbot is telling me I can't return it. Idk if the product is any good or not because my old charging hose is broken and that's mainly why i bought the product was to have a new hose to use to recharge it after i fix the a/c leak in the car. If the hose wasn't included I wouldn't have purchased it.
