I love this container. It is the perfect size to sit on the countertop and hold a weeks worth of compost, including full-size carrots, tissue rolls, and spoiled lettuce leaves. Once a week I take it outside and dump the contents into the outside compost bin, hand wash and start all over. I save the insert to be able to purchase a replacement air filter, but no odor from the container so far.

The product description on the website and in the enclosed information states that two charcoal filters are included. Only one charcoal filter came with this unit, and there are no instructions on how to receive a second filter.
