It is basic but functional. It fits well and all the buttons %26 pugin receptacles are accessable. It covers and protects the tablet, as it should.

I needed something to minimally secure my iPad that didn't cost 35% of what I'm using it to protect. The cover does the trick in giving a more confident hold as you transport the iPad around. When it comes to quality it's to be expected for the price. I've had it for 2 months now and just noticed a piece was cracked - it fell off when I touched it. The screen does shut off when you close it. The case having a trifold setup will support the iPad in a standing position but with a more laid back vantage point. While I wouldn't trust it's protection from a drop it makes me feel better about having something at least over the screen Once you snap it on it's a little difficult to take it out.
