Epson EcoTank 8500SE Supertank Photo Printer (White)

Excellent printer. I bought it for photo printing and graphic printer in other words heavy color ink usage. I like the fact it uses separate ink colors bc ink usage between colors is not the same. The ink is expensive for this printer but you are replacing all of it everytime. The print quality is fantastic. My photos and graphics tirn out gorgeous.

I am amazed with this new printer! It is everything a printer should be! It is quick, does double sided printing consistently with ease, was easy to set up, produces beautiful photos, and it prints on heavier paper—in fact, has so many wonderful settings I haven't used them all yet! Excellent quality. I was able to print high quality landscape of 8.5" by 23" on a single sheet using the rear paper feed. Having three different paper feeds makes for versatile home use.

I love this printer for photo printing. The pictures are clean and sharp, and look great! I've only printed 4 x 6, so I don't know how the 8 x 10 will look, but I'm anticipating great! I haven't printed anything else yet, but I've printed about 100 photos so far, and I've still got a lot of ink, so I anticipate saving money on ink costs. Best to use Epson paper, I have some other photo paper that is thicker, and I had to do one paper at a time in the feeder, because it kept saying it was jammed, even though it wasn't. I haven't tried copying yet or printing on regular paper except the test.

Exceptional photo printer. Better than commercial printing services. Not cheap but worth every penny.

I am still learning and everything works perfectly. Nice to have all paper loaded. All printing is fast and the colors are the best. The ink filling and monitor windows let you know exactly what you have remaining. The best I have seen or used.

I am very impressed with the quality of this printer. It was super simple to set up as the instructions were in detail and easy to follow. Operation of the printer either manually or wireless has been flawless. I also really like the way you can refill the cartridge tanks.

Fairly easy setup, beautiful photos, quick document printing. Hoping to save money on endless ink cartridges with the refillable ink feature.

Does a fine job with photos. Slightly off with saturation a bit too much...but haven't loaded my color Profiles from PS yet. This photo style printer is in my opinion the best type of printer 95% of the people who need a photo style could buy. My last Epson photo style lasted 14 years.

This is the first EcoTank printer I've ever owned and it puts other inkjet printers with their replaceable cartridges to shame. I've only had to refill ink two or three times. I wanted to be able to print on CDs and DVDs, but this printer is not easy to do that with. My Epson Artisan was the best printer I've used for optical disc printing. I have one other complaint about the output tray. It remains extended after printing and one has to manually close it. If there is a permanent location with lots of room in front it shouldn't be a problem leaving it open, but that's not the case for me. Overall however, it's a very good printer.
