Initial set up was a little techy, but that wasn't an issue for me (being a little techy oriented). Just follow the instructions, and you'll get through it, and the result on the other side of installation is more than worth the struggle (if any struggle is experienced). That being said, once it was set up, and my family's many devices were set up, everyone was literally overjoyed at the ease of connecting wirelessly and printing. I have 2 kids in college and a wife that needs to print things for the college class she teaches, and for so much else. B/W printing looks great!! Color printing is not as good as I've seen in other printers, but still super (e.g., blues and reds are not as deep or filled in as I think a higher quality color injet or color laser printer from 2 competitors can do). That being said, well over 95% of our family's printing is in B/W, so..... no *real* complaints here on that front. There is a little concern with the flimsy nature of the back-side angled paper tray. It wasn't properly in its channels when the printer arrived and it took some serious convincing to get the backside paper tray to get put back into place. But, again..... I don't see my family using this at all. Someone needing to print envelopes regularly might run into challenges with this back tray, but I just folded it up in it's "storage" position and will commence to ignore it for the life of my use of this printer. In the 20 years of having color printers (both laser and ink jet), I have NEVER used my printer to print envelopes (I do them at work on a professional high-end office machine). I can imagine using this (optional) back tray, but it would be super infrequently. All of my printing (again, looking at 20 years of having home office printers) will be using the front main paper tray.
The best I would purchase again
Great unit. Definitely cheaper operation.
l really like it and it is easy to setup.
The Epson preformed better than I expected. I thought the reviews I read were all hype but I was pleasantly surprised to find out the reviews were accurate.
Terrific printer! Easy to use. Enlarges and reduces images. Prints glossy or plain paper. Prints from phone as well as computer. Efficient with ink. Installation guidance is a good idea. comes with pull ink bottles. Very useful and quiet!
Love our new printer! Print quality is great and glad to not have to use cartridges anymore!
I love the ink tanks.
It works perfectly for my hobbies.
It was missing pieces otherwise great
