Epson EcoTank ET-4950 Wireless All-in-One Color Supertank Printer – White

Setup was straightforward. I ran into problems connecting the printer wirelessly so I'm using the USB cord instead, which works well. (Then again, I'm not planning to print from my phone or iPad, so this is not a big deal to me.) Haven't really had a chance to gauge print quality yet, although the pages I have printed look good. I'm a little dubious regarding how long the supply of ink will last, but we'll see.

Amazing printer. You could store the paper on the bottom. It's a bottom feeder. I like that I don't like having the paper up against the wall. It is wireless and you can just send it from your phone or your laptop. It is a front and back printer automatically. The Inc. losses a long time. We had a different of this tank before this one. And then we got this one. This is a lot faster. It prints really quickly. We use it for a homeschooling. I highly recommend this. It has clear printing and the paper storage check I said is on the bottom and double sided printing.

We don't print photos or need super high quality color but basic print quality is great for our basic home needs. I wish the cycling white light on the on/off button could be turned off, our office is a cubby off of our bedroom and i had to tape a piece of paper over it. We've only had it two weeks but so far it's all good, hopefully it will last a long time!

The unit certainly isn't plug and play to hook up with your Apple computer. I bought both the 3 year extended warranty from Allstate (recommend you avoid this service like a plague) and also the Walmart 1-year tech support. Both were completely useless to fix my connectivity to a Macbook Pro.

I ordered this to use it for a home office. It's difficult to hook up. The scanning doesn't work appropriately. My HP worked much better. It's past the return policy because I did not hook it up until eight weeks later.

The ET-4950 seems to be a decent All-In-One and I really like the eco-tank set up. The only issue that I ran in to is that it doesn't print dark blacks straight out of the box. Text prints in dark gray until considerable adjustments are made in the print dialogue page in my laptop settings for the specific printer. It took a while to figure out that the settings couldn't be adjusted on the printer itself; that is, unless I just couldn't find them. In that case, user setup and use is not as intuitive as other high end printers that I have had in the past.

I immediately needed to scan A Lot of material. The Epson performed flawlessly. This machine was a very good replacement for my earlier Epson!

Very intuitive and simple to setup and use. No hidden gimmicks on ink purchase and the tanks last. It copies and scans duplex it has very simple cleaning and alignment feature, if ever needed.

Very nice printer with easy set up and beautiful colors. I was able to connect to my phone and computers so easily. I love the fact that I will no longer be using cartridges that are environmentally awful. The print speed is great for home use too.

I have an EP-4958. It sucks! Never have I had so many problems and issues. Even the diagnostic tool does not work effectively. For what I saved in ink costs I have used So much more paper and ink I could have purchased a gazillion cartridges.....Install was not easy. Extremely cumbersome and time consuming. Definitely not user-friendly. If I had the money I would just junk this thing and go elsewhere.
