Love this scanner. It scans multiple pages, both sides, super quick. The image quality once the image or document is digitized is perfect! :)
the 5 stars Said it all!
I have been using a MFP with auto-document feeder for years. I finally decided to try this and it is great. Simple interface. VERY clear double sided scans. Happy I clicked "buy".
This was simple to set up on all my devices and so quick to scan . Has made my work time so easy as a title agent get constant packets out for closing , back to lenders. Love it
i am a mobile notary and regularly have to scan documents back to title. i use this on the road, and hook into a 500w jackery battery. it works great. 100% would recommend over a brother any day. small and compact, easy to use and set up.
Scanner works fine; software is dumb. I scanned a 15-page 2-sided document and the ScanSmart software defaults to saving one page per file. Finally figured out you need to select every page before you save. If I am scanning a single page, then saving it to a file makes sense. But scanning multi page documents should default to saving the entire scan as a single document. I learned the hard way by scanning the 15-page document, picked save and it did (or so I thought) and closed the app. Well, it only saved a single page, so I had to rescan the entire document and experiment with saving it as a single file.
I purchased this scanner to replace a 14 year old ScanSnap which died. I have not used the new scanner very much, as yet, but can offer this info. The scanner was very easy to connect and set up, and does a nice job of scanning. The weak part may be the software, which seems clunkier than the software for the old scanner. The software with the old scanner was more how I wanted it to work. It could be that I just haven't learned how to make the new software work differently. For now, it seems that I may need to adjust my process to something less efficient.
I wish there was an option to scan everything at once and just save them separately. That way we don't have to scan, save, scan, save, scan save, we could just scan, and then save save save save.
Installed and it doens't work. Uninstall didn't work right. Left stuff on my computer. Graphics are bad. Searched for hours for a solution. Reinstall - same problem. Made my Mac freeze. Uninstall - same problem. Reinstall - same problem. Write the company and they say - download and install. Didn't read what I wrote or attempt.
I bought this product a few days ago and it does not work with ARM-based Windows 11 computers. The drivers required for you to use this product will not install on your operating system, and they do not advertise this. I actually found a post by Epson that stated they planned on rolling out software for this specific product in April of 2025. When will this be addressed??
