Epson EX7240 Pro Wireless 3LCD Projector

I'm a trainer/instructor and purchased this projector to replace my older Epson VS240 projector. Well worth the money spent!! My audience can vary in size from 4-30 people and this projector accommodates any room size with great ease. Resolution is great with crisp images and letters. This projector allows me to leave the lights on in the room during class without losing any details in color or contrast. I use the HDMI connection and have not tried the Wifi, so I will not comment on the wifi. Overall, a really great projector and even better if you catch it for under $600 like I did!

I was try to find a projector that would work flawlessly with visualization software (Resolume Arena 4). This projector was easy to set up for a noob like me and I love it. Can't wait to incorporate visuals to go along with my music production. I also love that it's wireless and toucan even control it from a smartphone

I purchased the product to show a video. I was under the gun for time constraints. I was worried that there would be a learning curve. Fired it up one day prior the event (55th class reunion) and I was pleasantly surprised...showing with 5 minutes of setup.

I am very happy with this projector. It was easy to set up and use, with a very understandable menu. My only complaint is that I wanted to use a flash drive in the projector to view an avi file without the use of a computer. You're supposed to be able to do that, but although the projector found the file it was unable to open it. I'm still trying to figure that out, as this was the primary reason I purchased this projector over others that required a laptop to show avi;s.

Out of the box, the unit works great when wired to the computer. It took many steps to download all of the software to hook the unit up for wireless service. After over two hours of trying to get the wireless to work, I gave up. I did every step as instructed, to no avail. I will spend some more free time in the future to attempt to get the wireless working. Although I am very savvy with computers, it is disappointing that you need a "rocket scientist" to get the wireless working. Right now, it was a waste of an extra $100 to get the wireless version.

It has worked very well so far. It has a very clear picture and easy to operate. I had to move it closer to the screen in to get it to fit. Very happy with it so far. We use it at a church and they were very impressed with it and the HD, colors, and clarity.

We are just beginning to explore all of it's capabilities, but so far it has exceeded our expectations. We able to project presentations with the lights on! And it has functioned perfectly with many different computers, both old and new. Only one concern: it does take awhile to fully cool down.

Drawbacks: you have to load software before you can use the USB 2 cord - many corporations/government won't let you load software by yourself. You fill out an hour worth of paperwork and have it go through two approvals in five days before each laptop can be loaded up. Had to buy separate HDMI cord because it didn't come with one. Wireless...but wifi only and no bluetooth.

This projector is absolutely worthless, apparently it thinks you count like this: 1,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2,21,22,23~29,3,30,31 This makes a presentation from powerpoint out of order, and teaching administration a work around is completely unnecessary as well as impossible.
