Husband needed a new printer for his business, the old one suddenly stopped working. He called and asked me to find him one. He was surprised when I told him Walmart could deliver one right away. I had them deliver it the next morning, delivery was on time and it took him about 1/2 to get it up and running. This printer works great plus as the added feature of being a scanner, which will be a big help for him. Very happy with the print job it does, it is clear. The price was very good! This printer was easy to set up. The printer can scan at great resolutions. The printer has a touch display and everything just simply works. This is the thing that makes this printer shine. You don't need to connect it to a computer. Just connect it to the wifi and you can print from your phone , tablet , PC or any device.

up until last week I would have recommended this item without hesitation. however, Epson released a new firmware update that restricts The product to only using genuine Epson ink, which is considerably more expensive than aftermarket options. I printed 85 pages of text ... No large graphics ... That 85 pages ate the entire set of starter cartridges plus part of a set of aftermarket cartridges that worked until the fateful firmware update. I reached out to Epson support, and the response told me that they do not care about their customers ... they only care about the almighty dollar. there was no empathy or compassion - or even active listening to my complaint - provided by their support staff. their only reply was (paraphrasing) 'use genuine Epson ink or don't use your printer' ... they could have AT LEAST shown empathy. not including the cost of the aftermarket cartridges, My cost aggregates to 71 cents per printed page. for anyone on low/fixed income, This is not an affordable option!

At first glance I thought this was a great printer! Than I used it, one month in I’m already replacing ink, not one but, all four! Than, I’d do a test page, second mistake! This really was upsetting! As you can see I printed the test page and look at the levels of ink!? Some almost a third gone and didn’t even do anything besides an install! Before anyone thinks this was knock off ink, nope! This was in fact genuine Epson ink that I spent $68 on TWO separate packages, one color, one black! Insane with a world of fill able cartridges, other ink providers, many ink providers. You’d think Epson would create a product that was sustainable! This is just a large paperweight now that I wouldn’t pass off to my worst enemy! Stay away from this ink guzzling monster! Get yourself something that’s worth the money! Oh, and for the love of god, turn off updates! If you don’t, you’ll never be able to use an off brand ink! The little microchip in these son of a guns won’t recognize the ink and that $30 dollars you thought you were saving becomes another trip to the landfill!

I thought I was getting a great printer since it’s an Epson. The printer operations are very clunky with multiple button pushes needed to work through simple operations. I was very shocked to see that I had to work through up, down, right, and left arrow buttons to operate stuff on the separate display. Be aware that it has a screen, but it is not a touchscreen. It’s slow and the paper loads in the back like a Y2K printer. Terrible. I should have paid closer attention to what I was purchasing. Tried to save a buck, but now I’m having to purchase another printer to replace this. You get what you pay for.

Having trouble using scanner, I could not get it to scan after using instructions. Instructions were not lay people’s understanding in my opinion. I am not happy with this printer and either wish to sell it or return it. It is in excellent condition and not been mistreated or damaged. Mary

This printer doesn't work on 5G internet!!! It's 2026, how can you be a popular brand and not be working on the most common internet connections??? I'm completely P.O'd because I threw the box away as I removed the contents so now I can't even attempt to return the useless item and get my money back. BEWARE WHEN PRINTER SHOPPING!! Carefully read the details because obviously important details like WON'T WORK WITH 5G aren't made obvious for dummies like me!

Right out of the box the printer could not print. Utilized EVERY troubleshooting step in the manual and online live help. DID NOT FIX IT. RAN OUT OF INK TRYING TO FIX IT. Neither company will send ink cartridges and I am expected to spend MORE to fix THEIR screwed up equipment. Ready to go Office Space on this crap.

produced 10 prints from ink cartridges included...Epson said that is all that they are good for...bought a brand new set of ink cartridges and only got 10 more prints...Epson won't do anything to fix the problem and Wal Mart won't let me return the product...DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!!!!

Well, I bought this in February and it’s not printing anymore. I put the new ink cartridges in the packages were not sealed. There was no little tab over the ink hole so basically there was no ink in them. I bought new ink from Epson put it in still no luck then I noticed that the maintenance box says it’s almost full. How can it be almost full? I just purchased it in February. Actually, I think this was a used printer that I received.
