So this was overkill for what I needed it for but I said what the heck. Easy install, prints great photos and pictures. Love the cartridge less ink feature and all the ink it comes with. Haven't been this happy since my first color printer in the 90's.
I just got this printer recently to make prints of my oil paintings and it's the best. The quality is fantastic, I was shocked and so have all of the people who have seen or got a print so far. Being able to refill the ink tanks is an absolute game changer, I would buy one or these over and over if mine was to stop working down the road. epson please don't ever discontinue this printer haha, or if you do, make sure you replace it with an upgraded model because for me at least, youll have a customer for life if you have the 7750!
Great features including wifi, 5 colour, higher capacity ink storage, USB and media card capabilities. Printer is compact and relatively quiet. Only concern we have is the maintenance box. We have yet to barely use this brand new printer and maintenance box is showing limited remaining capacity, why Epson?? We hope we do not incur high fees for an over abundance need for maintenance box replacement.
I bought this printer a couple of weeks ago and the set up was very easy! It prints well although the photos on the matte card stock are a little dull. My main complaint is that I can't scan multiple pages automatically. Placing individual sheets on the scanner glass one at a time is a bit cumbersome. Otherwise I'm happy with my purchase.
Expression Premium ET-7750 EcoTank Wide-format All-in-One Supertank Printer is almost perfect for me. In December 2018 (last month) my AIO finally gave up the job that it was meant to do. Having been the top in it's class for photos 6 years ago, it was a disappointment to have lost the build and features. It was also the other brand, and I don't miss the lack of value with ink cartridges that quit before expended, not knowing the true ink capacity, or minimal prints from this expensive traditional process. Looking around I was not impressed by the features and new online conditions set by the others, and so I thought I'd try Epson. I'm very glad I did. With a new boxed up Workforce ET-4750 in hand, I discovered the ET-7750 and the extra ink bottle for photos which also improves B/W. I would have been perfectly fine with the ET-4750 which makes 8.5” x 14” copies (ET-7750 8.5” x 11” copies / smaller scanner plate I believe). The ET-7750 has no ADF which, my having a scanner before ADFs hit the home market, works better for my application. The ET-7750 has no fax which would be beneficial; however, I can scan and fax with software for the few occasions needed, and I gained USB/card slots which will find more use. The paper capacity is not an issue for me as it is not for an intensive workload, and the simpler design gives me some satisfaction. Did I mention it was quiet comparatively? Setup was smooth and the ink concept and execution overall is brilliant. I would like more robust trays, but they simply work. I miss my past 4” screen with a printer at a distance, but, this one is close by and does fine. I think Epson misses out by not including wider photo printing at this cost point. I believe they would make up for the cost to build and sell the printer by the paper sales. I'm hoping to get some 11.7” x 16.5” A3 Ultra Premium Luster or Glossy paper to try out. Hard to locate, if not impossible, in this city. Not sure how it will do, but I'd like to try it with the back tray. I also look forward to getting printable CDs/DVDs since, yes I know CDs are less popular today, but they still have a place with musicians. Add a larger scanner, larger print tray and wider photo printing for those photos that are excellent, and keep the ink in stock for the future, and Epson you would move from a near perfect 4 star printer to a 5 star perfect printer. I don't usually get excited about printers, but this is an exception. We print in Windows and Apple iOS, with the possibility of using Android. My wife wirelessly printed her very first photo on the nicely featured ET-7750. It was of her and her mother no longer with us. The sharp, correct colour, contrast, and bright photo is in the living room for all to see. The smiles said it all. Thanks, for a great replacement, Epson. We're lovin' the Epson ET-7750. GWhiz
I have only had the product for about a month and usually like the Epson products as we have one in the office and smaller one in my home office. With the at home policy I looked to get a more substantial unit and bought this one. So just getting up to speed but the scan to computer is always a problem, did it one time and then stopped. Slow scan as there is no document feeder that I have been able to see on this unit but maybe missed it. Like the quiet print function. Maybe will give a better review after using it a bit longer but right now a little disappointed.
I bought this printer based on the specs provided by Epson. While the overall quality of the printing is very high, the ISO ppm quoted on their spec sheet is not. I have never even come close to 13ppm in black. 5-6 at best. And in colour, 4 on a good day with not many graphics
Printer is good. I do not have a supporting software from Epson to print multiple selected photos of different dimensions/sizes from my computer/camera that could be printed on a single photo paper without wasting the space on the single photo paper.
We purchased this printer to replace our XP860 as we were doing a lot more printing at home during COVID times. Since our kids were learning from home, a lot of printing black ad colour was necessary. I liked the fact that it was easy to fill and large formats of prints was a bonus. There are several downsides, especially comparing to much less expensive XP860 machine which in my opinion was one of the best printers that I have ever owned and used. The only downside was the cost of cartridges. Here are the downsides of this machine. Small non-touch screen, very archaic feel to themachine, no ADF and no what I call smart features that XP860 has, for example: after scanning it reminds you there is a document on the glass or the ADF, other visual and sound cues that the almost 4 times as expensive machine is lacking. Quality of printing on 4x6 is better on the XP860 as well. So, I am dissapointed from the feataure aaspects but the selling point is the cheap running costs. Kids will print hundreds of pages, colour and black and white and the ink barely moves. But that is it. the rest is very rudimentary and basic. Only if the XP860 style machine was Ecotank and big 11x17 inch format. I would take it in a heart beat. I still use the XP860 at my private office and I cant help but to smile with the ease of use. compare to ET7750. I hope there is a machine in the works that is like this one but with upgraded feel and features as mentioned above.
Was excited for this purchase. However I returned it after the only "support" I received over email was to call them. It would print once and then I had to re-install on the wifi with my computer. After about 5 printed pages I had to clean the printer heads. When it worked, it worked great. But 95% of the times I tried to print it failed. Don't waste your money on this printer until they figure out the issues.
