Fantastic photo printer! Colors look vibrant, prints come out fast, and the whole setup took less than 10 minutes. It's compact, easy to use, and produces photos that look professionally done. Highly recommend for anyone who loves printing memories at home.
I am delighted with the quality of my photos using the PM400! The photos are crisp, clear and have accurate colours! I really enjoy using this printer to create a variety of photo sizes to use in my travelers notebook and scrapbook pages (2x2, 2x3, 3x3, 3x4, 4x4, 4x6).
I own the Epson Picturemate PM-********* for myself. It prints quality photos and so easy to use. I am so pleased with my photo printer that I wanted to give one to my daughter for her birthday so she could enjoy printing quality photos from her home.
I just received my new PM400 Olympus Portable Printer. I followed instructions and it appears I have done everything correctly. I chose the PM400 to replace my Olympus PM290. I hadn't used it in quite awhile and when I decided to bring it out of the closet again I was having issues cleaning the printer head. Fortunately it works now and comparing it with the new PM400 I am getting excellent results with the color but the new PM400 has new advantages, such as, wireless and being able to download photos from my computer. Love the compact printers from Olympus. I hope they keep these items in the production each year.
The Picturemate PM-400 does everything as promised. Prints are gorgeous, speed is great and set-up was a snap. It was truly plug and play with no issues and the WIFI connection was a breeze. Works with every device in our house: iPhones, iPads, iMacs and various cameras with WIFI. Perfect for those smaller prints in 4x6 and 5x7. I would recommend staying with the ultra premium glossy paper for best results; it's heavier and prints are spectacular.
I have used previous versions of the Epson PictureMate. Print quality has always been good, but now it is superior! I especially like the ability to make both 4x6 and 5x7 prints. The speed is also impressive. Much faster than the older versions. I can print roughly 90 4X6 prints with one cartridge. That comes to about $.30 a print for a professional quality print. For the money, you cannot beat this printer! Just wish I could give this printer more than 5 stars
I have had an Epson PM for 15 years. First the grey one, then the 225 and now the 400!! I've been wanting to upgrade to this one for quite some time, but my 225 kept on chugging until before Xmas and could not justify it. The PM400 is amazing and sooo easy to use!! Hook it up to your wifi and you're ready to print from your phone! Only thing I would of liked to have seen in the box, is a couple sheets of 5x7...but that won't lessen my review! 5stars +
I have not owned this printer for very long but the print quality is very good for a four colour cartridge. The only issue so far is that after not printing for a week the first picture I printer was awful and mostly green. Once I went through the clear process, the next one was ok. I guess you can't let the printer sit for too long between use. I'm hoping that the clean process doesn't use too much ink as I'm likely going to have to do this every time.
The PM-400 produces excellent quality photos on either 4x6 or 5x7 inch photo cards. The recommended, wireless interface works well and you can print from either Windows or Apple operating systems smoothly. The local printer USB interface worked from Catalina but NOT Windows 10. I believe this is a Microsoft problem and not an Epson problem because I have had similar issues with other non-Epson printers failing to print using local USB drivers from Windows 10. But when a problem like this occurs, it is not easy to resolve it. I am hoping the PM-400 will continue to work well because our family is really enjoying it so far.
We had a pm200 which worked great large screen for reviewing and editing your photos. It was great and why they ever did away with it was a dumb idea. People who buy and use these type of photo developers don't want all the computer garbage. The viewing screen is small this was a bad idea. Please bring back the pm 200 or something like it. I like Epson products but a pm400 is a big mistake.
