I bought the portable scanner about a month ago and I have to say that I've been very impressed with it. Simple to set up and use. I really like that it can read the name of the business off the receipt and the total amount charged. Whether a small receipt or a full page receipt it's simple. It will also smoothly run two pieces of paper that are stapled together with no problems.
so easy to set up and start using. Tiny little powerhouse.... First week I've probably scanned 100 documents and put them in separate files. Great thinking Epson Engineers....
Simple to set up and use. Scans come through clear. However, uploading to QuickBooks software needs improvement. Data from receipt not communicating well with QB. The communication needs tweeking. I like the size and simplicity of use, very hand for use when visiting clients.
Description says it works w ipad but built in program will not work on an iPad…you must have a lap/desk top.
Though it says it exports to Quickbooks, only the large expensive type, not self employed or online. So the reason I bought it, is, well, moot. I will probably return it.
Started out to be user friendly like the neat scanner. Just not happy two things first the software is not excepted as safe to download by Microsoft. So you have to disable the safe setting to download it. Then they only give 15 days to download it. I own the et 3750 printer ink well. Best 350. I ever spent
The ad shows scanning multiple receipts easily and I thought it would organize them by vendor and total them for taxable expenses. It just dumps them as individual files into the computer and you have to take time correcting, organizing and filing each one! It takes a lot of time fussing with receipts; not like throwing them in a drawer. It does scan easily and maybe there is a way to organize in separate subdirectories and total them so I know what to deduct from my business income but I haven't figured out how.
What a piece of CRAP and that's saying something good about it. First off it comes with a Micro USB Cable to USB A (ancient). My computer only has USB C ports. No problem I have a USB C to USB A hub. Tried 2 different hubs all 3 USB c ports on the computer. All I get when trying to connect is (waiting for USB cable to connect) Never see's the cable much less the scanner. So I go buy a USB A to USB C Adaptor, no change. So I try connecting wirelessly nope need to use the cable temporarily to do that. After 2 1/2 hours I've had enough
I am VERY tech savvy and this scanner will not install. I have all the drivers & software. When I go to install the printer for Windows 11, it gets to the point of trying to connect (I tried USB and WiFi 2.4 gHz) installer says 'Scanner not Found'. No matter what I do. I tried on multiple laptops. If it's plugged in via USB, there should be no issues installing. never seen anything like this.
supposed to be easy to use it is not no instructions. when scan things does not automatically put in group it belongs. my secretary still after a couple weeks can't figure it out.
