Epson WorkForce DS-40 Wireless Portable Document Scanner for PC and Mac, Sheet-fed, Mobile/Portable

I got this to scan papers and didn't want a printer, because I don't use the print function enough and it always dries up on me! This scanner was easy to use and worked very well!

I'm a trucker an old dog. But this scanner is easy fool proof. Connects to my phone easily. The app is simple. It's easier than a full size office scanner

I received this as a Christmas gift. Although I had some difficulty connecting it to my WIFI, once I figured it out, the scanner worked quite well. This is an excellent portable scanner for letter size documents. I have no problem recommending it.

Although it only scans one page at a time it is fast. I am a mobile notary and at times required to fax documents immediately after notarization. This scanner accommodates letter and legal size. I scan to a pdf then send eFax. A must for mobile notary work

Every product I have ever purchased from Epson has been a Superior Product. Extremely user friendly and Quick to run on my computer. Some printers are super slow and the Program seem to fight the printer. I have 2 printers and 2 scanner bars and recommend this product to anyone who needs to run their business with a quick work flow!

l bought this today so that I could scan business cards directly into my MS Outlook and Salesforce.com This is an excellent scanner above the rest, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new scanner to at least look at this Epson DS-40 it really gets the work done!

I bought this mostly for quickly scanning receipts. The user interface the comes with the product is harder to use relative to others on the market. It needs a lot of refining. Also, for no apparent reason the device stopped communicating with the computer over USB. I have never been able to get it to connect wirelessly. This was true for different computers. After 2 calls for technical advice it finally started working again for USB only. I hope this doesn’t become a reoccurring event. It scans well when it works.

Every time I got to use the scanner the software can't find it. I reinstall the drivers and software and they work again for a while, only to break soon after again.

I'm now forced to reinstall the product since: 1) I never could get it to connect over WiFi with Windows 10, and 2) with the USB connection, each time I step away from it for (e.g.) 10 minutes and come back, and I relaunch the app., I then cannot reconnect; complains that the device is "not connected"

Lack of manual left desires. I have yet to scan any documents as files are in different venues and action confirmation requires searching and retracing. Start up disc failed to initiate and web site started installation which then locked into a 99% mode. A shut down and reinstalltion seems to be working. Not to be a SIGN and DRIVE Epson Scanner I had which was obsoleted and not supported by Epson on Windows 10. So far unit looks nice let you no how scan looks when complete.
