Epson WorkForce ES-300W Wireless Color Portable Document Scanner with ADF for PC and Mac, Sheet-fed and Duplex Scanning

I scan all my financial documents each year and save them to my computer. My printer has a scanning feature, but doesn't do two-sided scans, so it's always been a long slow process. I just bout the ES-300W scanner this year and it zipped through all the documents that I had left. It was wonderful, and I had no problems using it at all.

This is the second scanner I have purchased because the first one stop working after about 10,000 pages however it is so fast and so good and so flexible I decided it was worth buying another problem paying have it repaired or attempted to be repaired and I'm glad I did pick up your room for parts.

Great portable scanner! Very happy with how quickly it scans and how clearly it scans documents. On iPhone you have a choice to save as pdf or jpg. I love that you can save as jpg and send it by text as a picture. I purchased a couple to try them out with my trucking fleet and have drivers scan 20 page documents with ease. It's fast and works great. Just not sure how it will last under trucker hands. I don't think it can handle multiple drops from 2 feet or rolling over if a driver drops it from a sit down position. The only down side is it connects to phone by WiFi and not Bluetooth. So if your connect to the scanner by WiFi you have no internet connection because the scanner is your WiFi connection and the scanner has no data!! So you must disconnect from WiFi and connect back to your data from your phone to save and send documents by email or text. other then that, it's a great product and recommend it to any one who needs a portable scanner. The battery life is pretty good to. This has rechargeable battery and comes with ordinary household plug connection to charge battery. So if you run in your car or truck, you need a converter to plug in your car and plug this to the converter.

Easy to set up for wireless operation. I have not used it a lot but so far am very happy with it. Nice quality scanning and serves my needs very well. Really like the compact size.

I've had this scanner now for about a month and have put it through it's paces. To be honest it's my first dedicated scanner that is not a flatbed (I've also used scanner features on multifunction printers), but so far I am very impressed. Set up was a breeze, I love the wireless feature so it doesn't have to be tethered to my computer. I didn't think I would be using the cordless battery that much, but so far that is how I have used it the most. It's easy just to pick it up and take it to another room. The speed and quality of the scanning are impressive to say the least. My only complaint is that it can be a little fiddly to get small items like receipts to be recognized by the automatic document feeder, but it didn't take long to figure out how to deal with that. All in all, this scanner is definitely worth the money. It's saved me hours already.

Bought this for work and it works very well for our purposes. It is fast and easy. We find it scans multiple sizes and types of paper with ease. Not heavy duty so it won't take heavy workloads, but that is okay because it is very portable and fits easily on a desk without crowding your space. I found it easy to set up wifi at the office, because I was able to access the router button. However, when I was working from home and brought it home, I found it impossible to set up the WiFi manually and had to use the USB cable. This was not too much of an inconvenience for me since the scanner was beside my laptop.

With setup completed, I was impressed with how smoothly a scanning operation went. The Mac OS software is intuitive to operate and looks nice too. My only complaint was the difficulty I had with initially setting the scanner up. It took about an hour, because the machine wasn't always recognized. I blame that both on a glitchy installation on one of our Macs and on a WiFi compatibly issue. We have two different mesh WiFi networks in our home, one for business and one for family. The family one uses the latest edition Eero Pro with 2 beacons. The home one uses TP-Link's M5 AC-1300 System. Although both systems are supposed to be 802.11 ac compliant, and both were providing 2.4 and 5g signals, I could only set the scanner up on the TP-Link network. Not sure if that's a known compatibility issue, but be sure before you buy.

Purchased this scanner because the first one , Brother, was totally unacceptable. This scanner works great. Has a little learning curve but once I learned it's quirks it a very quick little machine

The scanner is fast and produces quality reproductions in B&W and colour. I use the scanner exclusively to work with mobile devices (iPhone/iPad). The mobile Epson software is straight forward to use but lacks the ability to straighten scans that are crooked (a not uncommon occurrence). The process to connect via WiFi should be straight forward but it's not, in fact it's very buggy.

Don't like it at all very hard to set up. Paid an IT Professional and still cant get the wifi to work. I'm going to return it. Did not meet expectation. Had to make several adjustments when trying to scan receipts. I scanned 6 items and got frustrated.
