This is a nice little tool. Having the different sides actually helps and makes it easier to get a clean shape without switching between a bunch of files. Easy to use, not too rough, and does what it is supposed to do. It is simple, but it works really well. I would buy it again.
I recommend this for those like me with similar jagged nails that need help. Cost on everything has gone up but I would continue to use and refer others to use.
I failed to see it was a 4 way assortment of just grit filing. I'm keeping it anyway because there are uses for filing other items. Good product, I just bought the wrong item.
I have other files with a 180 grit and compared to those, this 180 grit is severely lacking. All four of the grit zones are supposed to be different and honestly I can't tell any difference between them.
This particular nail file had poor grit quality and didn't last me very long before it just didn't file my nails without spending a good amount of time on them. This was due to the poor grit quality on the file, no matter what end or measure of grit was used.
I DID NOT RECEIVE THIS ITEM, OR MY NAIL BUFFER. THE YOUNG LADY ACTING STRANGE AND SUSPICIOUS. I DIDNT REALIZE THAT MY OTDM WERE MISSONG UNTIL SHE PULLED OFF. I GUESS ITS BECOMING THE NORM IN LAWTON(I AM NOT FROM HERE), IVE HAD ITSMS STOLEN FROM ME EVERYDAY THIS WEEK. DOLLAR general, McDonalds and now Walmart. I am permanently disabled with progressive, degenerative illnesses. By the way, I'm MARLA CARTER, NOT CHRISTIAN CARTER, WE SHARED PHONES AND ACCOUNTS UNTIL SHE RELOCATED A FEW WEEKS AGO. I HOPE TO HAVE A RESOLUTION TO THIS NERVE WRECKING EXPERIENCE BEFORE THE CLOSE OF BUSINESS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been buying these for a long time. I keep them handy in my purse, car, and nightstand as my fingernails chip and split easily. THESE ARE NOT THE SAME ITEM!!! These last ones are very poor quality. They have barely ANY grit on them and are very flimsy a POOR imitation! Barely one time use item. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
I have the remnants of an emery board that has four different grits on it, and I've used it up, I wish I had another one like it. So I found this one at walmart. Equate 4-way nail shaper. It looks like the one I'm trying to replace, but the grit is worthless. The Medium Fine /Fine side has NO grit whatsoever. You could rub it on your eyelids it wouldn't do any damage. It's soft as a baby's butt. The Medium Coarse /Coarse side has a little grit on it, but it's not remotely coarse. Coarse is supposed to be COARSE. It's not even a little bit of coarse. The medium coarse one is less coarse than that. The side that says medium course, is the same feeling as the medium FINE side on the one I have. NO end or side of these emery boards are going to file your nails. It's a waste of money. They are NO WAY the grit they claim to be. Not even a little bit. Absolutely worthless.
I think that I would like this nail shaper; however, it was not available; yet it appears that I was charged for it. Is it on back order? What is the status? No communication received. Please advise
Bought this in the past and it was fairly good. This time on the coarse side there is very little grit and on the fine side no grit at all. Will NOT buy again.
