I would not recommend this product at all.

Kakki March 12, 2017

Bought this because my hands were cracked used overnight. The next morning my skin was peeling very bad.

Great for everything!

cindyjane August 15, 2015

I bought this at the store thinking it would be good for dry feet. But it's an overall great moisturizer. It is a little greasy, but I put it on with enough time for it to settle in before I have to get dressed or I wipe it off. I don't have dry skin at all, but I put this on my legs and even my face and I love it. I have never used the brand this is supposed to be compared to, but I have used Equate products before that just don't measure up to their brand counterparts, but not this one. I have used petroleum jelly on my feet with socks at night and baby oil gel mixed with my lotion, but this is the best I have found for my feet, legs and arms. I also have sensitive skin on my face and can't just use any moisturizer or lotion. When It's time to put my make-up on, I do have to blot it off, but it's no big deal and as I said, by the time I get dressed, it has been absorbed in my arms and legs. If you feel it's too greasy, I would use it at night. My legs and arms are softer than they've ever been. I'm here to buy the larger size in the jar.

I have very dry skin. I keep this with me, to moisturize my hands each time I wash them, it works great!

EQUATE HEALING OINTMENT

SHERRY September 13, 2015

I really liked this ointment for the first few weeks of use. But after the second month of use for my surgery it began to irritate my skin. My Dr requested I stop using it. Then my skin cleared up.

Good price but maybe not what you expect

sybilbaba September 3, 2015

WE were hoping to get a lower price for a similar product match to Aquaphor healing cream. This is Equate brand is similar but a bit runnier and the tube had no seal on it, which surprised me. We had a rather critical need to soothe the sutures after surgery and this product did an adequate job. I just think the Aquaphor brand is slightly better in accomplishing the task we required.

Not aquaphor

Anonymous March 10, 2016

If you are looking for product like Aquaphor this is not it. It's a lot thinner in consistency and you use a lot more. It's closer to Vaseline.

Compare Equate to Aquaphor Brand

DS2017 January 4, 2017

There is no comparison to the brand Aquaphor, don't try to save money and purchase this product. It is very very oily, greasy, thin and does not rub in at all. I saw no difference in my skin using the Equate Brand. Best to stay with the Aquaphor Brand product.

Not anywhere close to Aquafor

Trib January 29, 2015

This product claims to be comparable to Aquafor but it fails completely. It is not moisturizing at all. Aquafor soaks into the skin and gives you relief from dry, cracked skin. This stuff is greasy and just sits on the skin. It provides no relief. In fact, my skin feels drier after using this product than before I put it on. I usually like Equate brand items but this one did not live up to the name or their claims.

Nothing like Aquafor

RegularPeanut November 2, 2015

I usually am very happy with Equate brand products but this is the worst. It is represented as being comparable to Aquafor ointment and it is nothing like it. VERY watery and greasy, I had to wipe it all off. It didn't soak in or relieve/moisturize my skin in any way. I was also surprised that it wasn't sealed. Don't try to pinch the pennies here; splurge on the good stuff the first time, this product is a waste of money.

Vaseline in a tube

Crystal March 1, 2016

This is just Vaseline in a tube, Nothing added or special about it and it didn't work for my dry cracked hands either . but I guess you get what you pay for.
