This is an actual miracle. I had a horrific excema flare up for the first time and two weeks of trying everything I had in the house and nothing was helping. I researched products available and chose this as being similar to the name brand product. No exaggeration. I saw a huge improvement after the *first* application. The scaly leathery like areas quickly softened and had some peeling. Itchiness was greatly reduced. It is 24 hours later and my arm has healed tremendously already. I am one who really doubts the efficacy of products but am actually amazed at how well this worked on me. I also used Equate Intensive Healing Formula Hydrocortisone cream alternating their application and I am positive it helped as well.
I am a senior citizen who bruises easily ... especially since I'm taking blood thinners. My dermatologist told me to try an over-the-counter "bruise cream" to help the hematomas fade away faster. So I searched Walmart's website and this product popped up. I am very happy with this product as it has proven to help rid the bruising 50% faster than using nothing at all. Whereas the product is somewhat greasy when applied and does not absorb into the skin all that well, I have found that a little goes a long way and it works very well. I will definitely be using this product for years to come.
Been to Dermatologists. Tried all the products they recommended. None of them worked as well as this product for me. Really! Go figure. A Walmart Equate product? Yea! I've used this together with Equate "Burn Relief Spray With Lidocaine" to relieve itching skin. You'll have to adjust the amount of each to find what works for you. I'd start with a little cream and a couple shots of spray. It will build up on your skin after a while. When it does I use Eucerin Skin Calming Body Wash for dry skin for two or three washes. Then I go back to Dove fragrance free as my body wash.
my son had a rough spot due to the over-washing his hands through this pandemic. I bought this for him and applied to the rough spot. it has worked with continuous use. the spot has become soft and no longer itches him. I highly recommend. my daughter also uses this for her eczema and it does wonders on her as well. I highly recommend.
In the past, I have purchased Gold Bond Eczema Relief lotion. The last time I went to buy some, I saw Equate Beauty Eczema Relief Skin Protectant Cream sitting next to the Gold Bond. The price was much lower even after considering the coupon I had for Gold Bond. I compared the ingredients in Equate and Gold Bond and I am convinced that Equate will do the same job as the much more expensive name brand. I am not going to pay for a name when the product will do the same thing. I can use the extra money to buy something else I need.
Wish I discovered this sooner.. this cream works wonders after trying other ointments, lotions, balms and even prescription meds for almost 2 years! My son has severe eczema, the cream worked within 24 hours. He stopped scratching and it keeps his skin moisturized. I love the price too.
Finally a cream I can use on my dry skin that doesn't burn when applied. I have tried several products for my skin and this one is soothing and feels so good when applied. Highly recommend.
Very good cream for eczema it does not burn and the moisture is wonderful and it helps your skin look and stay healthy in the winter. Good for sensitive skin.
Great product. I had horrible eczema on my knuckles and this stuff cleared it up. It's thick, but not TOO thick, and not greasy which is awesome. My biggest complaint lately is that it's never in stock! Has Walmart stopped making it?! I'd be devastated.
I've used just about everything that is over-the-counter and prescription-based formulas. For the price this one works just as well as the more expensive name brands. The key to managing eczema is how often and when you use it, not the product's label or company name.
