I'm so glad that I read the reviews and chose this product. I needed this grip bar to help my 87 year old mother getting in and out of the bathtub. This product exceeded my expectations and has a very secure grip the shower wall. While the directions clearly state that this item is designed to help with balance and not designed to bear full body weight like a bar that is screwed into the wall, it's very sturdy and let's be honest, if you feel yourself starting to slip and fall, you are going to be grabbing for something to hold

This bath grip bar is great. We have used it in our shower for the last 3 years. I never thought it would adhere so well to the shower wall. One time it slipped down slightly after 2 years of use. I repositioned it, locked it and it was good to go. No need for screws or other installation. Easy peasy and great.

we've had 3 different suction handles like this. 1 popped off the wall as soon as any weight was put on it. THIS bathtup bar was so good it held before I even finished installing it. obviously, make sure you imstall it correctly, but man, this thing has grip. I am not afraid of it coming lose and injuring my elderly parent.

this sticks great in my shower. I really feel more secure in the shower now when doing things too. and for getting out of the shower and in it.. I am pushing 60 need all the help I can get with the shower process but i would recommend only if your shower is not tiled... has to be smooth shower walls like mine are...

I purchased four of these for my bathtub - which had no safety rails, handles, etc. They are indispensable. While none of them have yet to fall off - they are intended to be used for balance only. I use these for balance so they have thus far worked fine. My tiles are a little smaller than 4" but thus far these have worked fine. They are sturdy, the suction cups and latches work well. These are simple to use.

Did not work, fell off.. Dangerous product, could cause death or injury, should be taken off the market.. (wheelchair bound, I bought this to use in the bathroom for an overnight sleep study. It fell to the floor, leaving me with nothing to pull myself up on the left, so I could wipe myself.) ((** paid for 3 hours or less delivery, to use at the appointment.. what a waste** )) Followed the instructions, after a few times I dampened the suction cups to see if they would stick.. They stuck a few seconds longer and then fell to the floor..

i just had hand surgery so i got this to help me get in and out of the shower unfortunately, it does not sick to the wall for more than two minutes.And I put it on it for ten times

Will not stay suctioned to tile wall. Even if it would ever stay longer than 5-10 minutes, I'd never recommend anyone trusting it to hold on to to keep their balance. It sticks then the suction releases. This continued to happen before I ever tried to use it. Thank goodness! Otherwise, I'd have been in the floor in this apt. alone. Buyer beware, I'd have given this zero stars if I could have.

It and nice handle but the suction sucks!!!! I cleaned the shower wall where I was putting this grip bar after showering and early the next morning I heard a loud crash in my apartment. After looking around my apartment I looked in the bathroom and there it was in the floor on the beside the toilet. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the area again and once again on the floor it went. Had to return it, can't take the chance of hurting myself trying to grip handle getting out of the bathtub.

I don't know how this product got so many good reviews. I must have gotten a defective one. Twice I stuck it on the shower wall, it felt like a very solid handle but fell off the wall within minutes. I attached it to my kitchen counter and within a few minutes one side had loosened up and moments later the other side unlocked itself while I wasn't touching it. I am so grateful that my boyfriend didn't use it. His stubborn attitude kept me from putting it in the shower until yesterday just to try it out. He would have been seriously injured if he had tried to use it during his shower. Scary!
