Equate Bed and Bath Grip Bar Bathtub and Shower Handle, 11.5"

I'm so glad that I read the reviews and chose this product. I needed this grip bar to help my 87 year old mother getting in and out of the bathtub. This product exceeded my expectations and has a very secure grip the shower wall. While the directions clearly state that this item is designed to help with balance and not designed to bear full body weight like a bar that is screwed into the wall, it's very sturdy and let's be honest, if you feel yourself starting to slip and fall, you are going to be grabbing for something to hold

This bath grip bar is great. We have used it in our shower for the last 3 years. I never thought it would adhere so well to the shower wall. One time it slipped down slightly after 2 years of use. I repositioned it, locked it and it was good to go. No need for screws or other installation. Easy peasy and great.

Works great, I actually bought a 2nd one due to the person I take care of having a stroke and cannot hold anything on the left so I installed one he can hold going in and another for getting up to get out. Had to find something like this as his shower stall in all tile and could not install regular grab bars.

This is a great product and big help to me I have vertigo and without the grippers I could not wash my feet very well I hold on to one to get in and out of the shower and I use the second one to wash my feet. I would tell all my older friends to purchase one or maybe two!

I purchased four of these for my bathtub - which had no safety rails, handles, etc. They are indispensable. While none of them have yet to fall off - they are intended to be used for balance only. I use these for balance so they have thus far worked fine. My tiles are a little smaller than 4" but thus far these have worked fine. They are sturdy, the suction cups and latches work well. These are simple to use.

Did not work, fell off.. Dangerous product, could cause death or injury, should be taken off the market.. (wheelchair bound, I bought this to use in the bathroom for an overnight sleep study. It fell to the floor, leaving me with nothing to pull myself up on the left, so I could wipe myself.) ((** paid for 3 hours or less delivery, to use at the appointment.. what a waste** )) Followed the instructions, after a few times I dampened the suction cups to see if they would stick.. They stuck a few seconds longer and then fell to the floor..

i just had hand surgery so i got this to help me get in and out of the shower unfortunately, it does not sick to the wall for more than two minutes.And I put it on it for ten times

I am 72 years old and thought that this would help greatly to get into the shower. The first one that I bought held up for awhile and then started unhooking itself and falling off. I purchased a new one and it cannot even stay hooked to the shower shell for the length of a shower. The second one is a complete piece of trash.

The ad information on this grab bar states that it is to be used on shower wall tiles that are 4" x 4" or larger. We have 4" x 4" tiles in our shower compartment and it DOES NOT WORK! There is NO way to situate the grab bar so that one of the suction ends does not hit a grout line. Thus it will not take hold and work as needed. I know have one I cannot use because I read and believed the ad on this site. Buyers Beware!!

Will not stay suctioned to tile wall. Even if it would ever stay longer than 5-10 minutes, I'd never recommend anyone trusting it to hold on to to keep their balance. It sticks then the suction releases. This continued to happen before I ever tried to use it. Thank goodness! Otherwise, I'd have been in the floor in this apt. alone. Buyer beware, I'd have given this zero stars if I could have.
